You will be responsible for machine maintenance including diagnosing and performing preventative and corrective maintenance. This role will be cross-trained in our Process/Maintenance-Technician Blow Molding role. This position supports process improvement and new technology processes to achieve goals for profitability, safety, and ergonomics. In addition, you will be responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer and Management team with other projects as assigned.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nComply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.\nAdheres to all instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices and housekeeping procedures.\nProcess, troubleshoot and repair of all machines and support equipment.\nMonitor and adjust bottle processes to optimize bottle quality and minimize scrap and maintain quality.\nComplete preform and bottle changeovers.\nBecome proficient in facility-specific blow molder and injection equipment operations & troubleshooting.\nReplace or Repair machine parts.\nAssist with machine installation.\nProcess/Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:\nReduce scrap and promote efficient operations of the cycle time.\nProvide innovative and creative solutions to production problems.\nFollow the complete Start-up and Shut-down procedure as per the Company's and Machine's requirements.\nPreventative Maintenance.\nMaintain downtime documentation throughout the shift to support data collection, problem solving and daily meetings.\nAssists with cross-training technicians and performs tasks such as those listed below: Mold Changes and Mold CleaningStarting and stopping the injection molding machines\nStarting and stopping the conveyors\nPurging out the injection molding machine\nChanging out and cleaning out the dryer filters\nMaintenance of the chiller system\n\nEducation and/or Experience:\nExperience with industrial processing equipment and infrastructure. Blow molding and injection are preferred.\n3 years minimum in an industrial setting with processing or maintenance responsibilities.\nTechnical School training in Injection/Blow Molding is preferred.\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required.\nOther skills and abilities:\nAbility to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, identify problems, address problems and meet deadlines.\nAbility to follow verbal and written instructions.\nEnglish skills must be proficient to read, write and communicate.\nBasic math skills\nBasic computer skills\nBasic mechanical trouble shooting and repair\nBasic electrical trouble shooting and repair\nMust be able to work with minimal supervision.\nMust be able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.\nAbility to work overtime and weekends as required.\nMust be able to operate material handling equipment.\nMust be committed to the success of the entire organization\nUnderstand and comply with applicable OSHA safety rules/regulations and Lock-out/Tag-out requirements.\nMust be able to become forklift certified within 60 days.\nPhysical Requirements:\nRequirements include, but are not limited to:\nMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.\nMust be able to push, pull, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crawl.\nMust be able to perform repetitive motions such as reaching and grasping.\nWork environment is in a warehouse and temperatures inside vary between hot or cold based on the outside conditions.\nCompetitive
