In addition, you will be responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer and Management team with other projects as assigned.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nComply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.\nAdheres to all instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices, and housekeeping procedures\nStart-up/Shut down the machine\nClean & Service machine.\nChange molds and set up production equipment.\nSetup and service peripheral equipment.\nClean and service molds and machine parts.\nReplace and repair parts.\nAssist in installing the machine.\nAssist Process/Maintenance technician.\nAny other duties as assigned.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required.\nExperience with Blow molding/ Injection machines is desired.\nTechnical training in the Blow/Injection Molding Process is preferred.\n2 years’ minimum operation and adjustment experience with machines.\nOther skills and abilities:\nAbility to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, identify, and address problems, and meet deadlines.\nAbility to follow verbal and written instructions.\nEnglish skills must be proficient in reading, writing, and communicating.\nBasic math skills\nBasic computer skills\nMust be able to work with minimal supervision.\nMust be able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.\nAbility to work overtime and weekends as required.\nMust be able to operate material handling equipment.\nMust be committed to the success of the entire organization\nMechanical abilities are a plus\nUnderstand and comply with applicable OSHA safety rules/regulations and Lock-out/Tag-out requirements.\nMust be able to be forklift certified within 60 days. \nPhysical Requirements:\nRequirements include, but are not limited to:\nMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 85 lbs.\nMust be able to push, pull, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crawl.\nMust be able to perform repetitive motions such as reaching and grasping.\nAbility to reach 7’ (84”)\nThe work environment is in a warehouse and temperatures inside vary between hot and cold based on the outside conditions. \nWork is fast-paced.Job Description Overview:\nIn the Service/Supporting Technician role, you will be responsible for mold changes, PM, and service work and supporting the processing and troubleshooting of all Blow Molding/Injection Molding and Support Machines.
