This role is essential to ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant HR and payroll delivery across VSE's multi-entity U.S. and international workforce. Working closely with the HR Technology & Payroll Operations team, the HR Technology Analyst supports day-to-day system administration and configuration in Paycom and related HR tools, supports module implementations and integrations, and enables reporting and analytics that empower HR leadership to make data-driven decisions. This is a fixed-term contract position, anticipated to run 9 to 12 months, based in the Miami, Florida area.\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nSystem Administration & Configuration\nAdminister and configure Paycom modules including HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, Recruiting, Performance, and Learning Management\nFollow and maintain established configuration standards, process controls, and data integrity practices that support accurate and compliant HR and payroll delivery across VSE business units\nManage system tables, pay codes, earning and deduction codes, workflow rules, and security role assignments\nBuild and maintain document templates, forms, and automated notifications within Paycom\nRespond to Paycom system questions from HR, Payroll, and business users and escalate complex issues as appropriate\nData Integrity & Compliance\nConduct regular audits of employee records, system configurations, and data feeds to ensure accuracy and consistency\nSupport audit and compliance requirements by maintaining comprehensive documentation of system configurations, data flows, and security controls\nPartner with HR, Finance, and Payroll to ensure adherence to FLSA, ACA, ERISA, and multi-state labor regulations across VSE's domestic and international operations\nIdentify, research, and resolve data discrepancies across HRIS, Payroll, and integrated systems\nMaintain data standards and naming conventions to support clean reporting and analytics\nReporting & Analytics\nBuild and maintain standard reports, dashboards, and audit queries that provide visibility into workforce data, payroll accuracy, and HR KPIs for leadership\nSupport HR leadership with headcount reporting, compensation analytics, and workforce data requests\nAssist in developing Power BI dashboards connected to HR and payroll data sources\nTranslate business requirements into report specifications and deliver timely, accurate outputs\nIntegrations & System Connectivity\nSupport the testing, validation, and ongoing monitoring of data flows between Paycom and integrated systems including benefit carriers, 3rd party vendors, and finance/ERP\nMonitor integration job logs, identify failures, and coordinate resolution with vendors or IT\nAssist with testing and validation during integration updates, system upgrades, or new vendor onboarding\nProject & Implementation Support\nSupport HR technology enhancements by documenting requirements, system configuration changes, conducting testing (SIT/UAT), supporting deployment, and validating changes post-implementation\nCoordinate system readiness for annual HR cycles including open enrollment, performance reviews, and compensation programs\nSupport employee data migrations and system onboarding for acquired companies in coordination with M&A integration workstreams\nSupport user adoption by developing role-based training materials, quick reference guides, and hands-on workshops for HR and end users\nCreate and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and process guides\nAssist with month system release reviews, feature evaluation, regression testing, and communication to stakeholders\nOther duties as assigned.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\nBachelor’s degree in information systems, human resources, business administration, or a related fieldOR an additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.\n\n5 years of experience in HRIS administration, HR technology, or a related HR operations role\nHands-on experience with Paycom or a comparable cloud-based HRIS platform (UKG, ADP, Workday, or similar)\nDemonstrated expertise in business process analysis, requirements documentation, and functional system configuration\nStrong understanding of HR data structures, employee lifecycle transactions, and system integration concepts\nExperience supporting data integrations or working with data files (SFTP, flat files, or APIs)\nExperience supporting audit and compliance requirements including payroll regulatory standards and benefits compliance (ACA, ERISA)\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel for data auditing, manipulation, and reporting\nAbility to manage multiple priorities across a fast-paced, multi-entity environment\nExcellent stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills\nPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:\nPaycom system administration experience, including module configuration and security role management\nExperience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools connected to HR and payroll data sources\nExposure to M&A integration activities, including employee data migrations and system onboarding of acquired populations\nFamiliarity with HR compliance requirements across multiple U.S. states and international jurisdictions\nExperience with SaaS release management, feature evaluation, regression testing, and stakeholder impact communication\nKnowledge of current market trends in HR technology including pay equity analytics, AI-driven insights, and digital employee experience platforms\nHR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) or HRIS-specific certification\nOTHER:\nSelected applicants
