This role will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights for finance, sales, operations, and executive leadership teams. The ideal candidate is fluent in SQL (T-SQL and PostgreSQL dialects), has deep expertise in Power BI data modeling and visualization, and can work independently to understand business requirements, design scalable solutions, and maintain a clean and reliable BI library.\nKey Responsibilities\nConnect to and query both Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases to extract and transform data for reporting.\nDesign, develop, and maintain Power BI datasets, data models, dashboards, and reports.\nCreate intuitive, visually compelling dashboards that drive data-informed decision-making.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and iterate on report design.\nOptimize performance of Power BI reports and underlying SQL queries.\nMaintain a well-organized and governed BI workspace/library.\nDocument data sources, logic, and report usage for internal stakeholders.\nRequired Qualifications\n\nStrong SQL skills in both Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL) and PostgreSQL.\nProven experience building and publishing Power BI dashboards and data models.\nAbility to write efficient queries and optimize performance across large datasets.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nStrong communication and documentation skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience working with data warehouses, ETL pipelines, or data integration tools is a plus.\nExperience in a distribution, manufacturing, or multi-entity environment is a bonus.\nPower BI Desktop and Power BI Service.\nMicrosoft SQL Server
