The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable eCommerce and web applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performance-driven solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain web applications and eCommerce storefronts using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.\nBuild, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, and custom post types.\nDevelop and manage online storefronts and integrations on BigCommerce and Shopify, including custom apps, themes, and API integrations.\nDevelop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 modules, themes, extensions, and third-party integrations.\nTranslate business requirements and UI/UX designs into clean, efficient, and reusable code.\nIntegrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, shipping providers, and ERP/CRM systems.\nOptimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues across multiple eCommerce platforms.\nStay current with platform updates, security patches, and industry best practices across WordPress, BigCommerce, Shopify, and Magento 2.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n4+ years of professional experience in PHP-based web development.\nStrong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.\nProven hands-on experience with WordPress (custom theme/plugin development, ACF, WooCommerce a plus).\nSolid experience developing and customizing storefronts on BigCommerce (Stencil framework, APIs).\nStrong experience with Shopify (Liquid templating, Shopify APIs, custom app development).\nIn-depth knowledge of Magento 2 architecture, including module development, layout XML, and the Magento admin/backend.\nExperience with MySQL and relational database design and optimization.\nFamiliarity with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and third-party service integrations.\nUnderstanding of version control systems (Git/Bitbucket).\nKnowledge of MVC frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or similar) is a plus.\nExperience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.\nFamiliarity with basic DevOps practices (deployment pipelines, server configuration) is a plus.\nAbility to work independently and within a team.\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Computer
