Senior Solution Architect

About the Role

As a Senior Solution Architect at VTEX, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable commerce solutions for enterprise clients across both B2C and B2B business models.

You will work closely with clients throughout the project lifecycle, from understanding business challenges and defining the solution architecture to supporting implementation, delivery, and ongoing evolution.

This role combines strong technical expertise, business understanding, project ownership, and client relationship management. You will help clients translate complex business needs into clear, actionable, and scalable solutions, while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the expected business impact.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing simple, scalable, and reliable solutions based on each client’s business needs.
• Translating business requirements into clear architectures and implementation plans.
• Supporting clients and partners throughout implementation and project delivery.
• Helping ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and with the expected business outcomes.
• Identifying technical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs, and recommending practical solutions.
• Facilitating discovery, business planning, and digital strategy workshops.
• Building trusted relationships and acting as a technical and strategic advisor to clients.
• Working with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and systems integrators to deliver successful projects.
• Communicating complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contributing to architectural standards, knowledge sharing, and the continuous improvement of the Solution Architecture team.

For this position, you are required to attend the São Paulo office four days a week, from Monday to Thursday, with remote work on Fridays.

About the Team

The Solution Architecture team helps enterprise clients design, implement, and scale their commerce operations with VTEX.

We connect business strategy, technical architecture, and project delivery, working closely with clients, implementation partners, and teams across VTEX. As a global team, we share knowledge across regions and continuously improve how we deliver complex B2C and B2B commerce projects.

Who you are

• You have experience designing and delivering complex digital, commerce, or enterprise technology solutions.
• You understand software architecture, APIs, integrations, data flows, and distributed systems.
• You have experience working on implementation or delivery projects with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• You can connect business objectives with technical decisions and translate complexity into clear actions.
• You are comfortable working directly with enterprise clients and building relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
• You communicate clearly, facilitate effective workshops, and adapt your message to different audiences.
• You take ownership, identify risks proactively, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• You are collaborative, practical, curious, and motivated by solving complex business and technology challenges.
• Previous experience with VTEX is desirable.
