You will shape customer-facing experiences and the backend services behind them, lead technical decisions from discovery through production, and improve software that connects hardware, networks, and customer-facing applications.\nYou'll work with people who share the same values of being passionate, innovative, accountable, collaborative, and respectful. We take care of our teammates by offering meaningful and challenging work, growth opportunities, stock options, team events and lunches, competitive wages, 4 weeks paid vacation per year, hybrid work, flexible hours, and health benefits.\nJob Responsibilities include:\nOwn product features end to end: clarify requirements, design frontend and backend changes, implement them, and validate their production behavior.\nBuild and maintain responsive web experiences, APIs, integrations, data workflows, and automated test coverage.\nLead technical design and architecture decisions that balance user experience, application behavior, reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability.\nCollaborate with product, engineering, DevOps, Customer Success, and other stakeholders to manage technical risk and deliver reliable outcomes.\nInvestigate production issues across the stack, improve observability and resilience, and support effective resolution.\nMentor engineers through design reviews, implementation guidance, and constructive technical feedback.\nUse AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly to accelerate development, debugging, testing, and documentation while maintaining sound engineering judgment.\nTo be Successful in this role, you will have:\nStrong PHP experience, with Laravel as the primary framework; Symfony or other modern PHP framework experience is also welcome.\nStrong TypeScript and modern JavaScript experience.\nStrong Vue.js experience; React or Angular experience is also accepted.\nExperience building and maintaining single-page applications, responsive user interfaces, and reusable component architectures.\nExperience designing and implementing REST APIs, working with relational databases, and integrating frontend applications with backend services.\nExperience with Eloquent ORM, migrations, relational data modelling, and MySQL or PostgreSQL.\nExperience with authentication, authorization, background jobs, caching, and production troubleshooting.\nExperience with automated testing across frontend and backend, using tools such as Vitest, Jest, Playwright, Cypress, PHPUnit, Pest, or similar.\nProven system-design and architecture experience, including production decision-making and technical leadership.\nPractical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools as part of a responsible development workflow.\nGit and CI/CD experience.\nYou may also have:\nExperience with maps, geospatial data, or data-visualization libraries.\nExperience with IoT products or systems where hardware, software, and networking intersect.\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), or cloud-native operational practices.\nExperience with design systems, Figma, accessibility, or frontend performance optimization.\nExperience with queues, events, Redis, Horizon, or comparable asynchronous-processing tooling.\nCommon soft-skill requirements:\nClear written and verbal communication.\nOwnership and sound judgment in driving product, technical, and quality outcomes.\nAbility to make and explain pragmatic architecture and production decisions.\nProactive collaboration across teams.\nA mentoring mindset and constructive approach to technical leadership.\nWe are committed to building an inclusive and diverse organization and encourage all qualified individuals to apply.
