You'll work primarily in C# and Vue within an Azure and SQL Server environment. You’ll partner closely with product, design, and other engineers to ship features that directly impact how organizations connect with their donors and advance their missions.\nVirtuous CRM+ is built on the latest version of .NET and Vue, and we are actively building AI-first features on the leading edge of SaaS software.\nThis is a senior, hands-on role for someone who is AI-Forward and thinks like a Product Engineer. Everyone is willing to make the coffee!\nCelebrating the wins & milestones of others\nAssuming good intent & demonstrating trust in others\nPursuing relationships with people different from themselves & creates space to be human\nResponsibilities\nBuild, and maintain features across our CRM+ platform using C#, .NET, and SQL Server\nArchitect and operate services on Azure, with an eye toward scalability, reliability, and cost\nPartner with Product and Design to shape requirements - not just receive them - bringing a customer-first perspective to technical tradeoffs\nUse AI tools, especially Claude Code, as a core part of your daily workflow: for prototyping, code generation, testing, debugging, documentation, and accelerating delivery\nWrite clean, well-tested, maintainable code and unit tests - and participate actively in the code review process\nMentor and pair program other engineers and help raise the bar for engineering practices across the team\nInfluence best practice patterns for QA, CICD, and product architecture\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues with a sense of urgency and ownership\nContribute to technical strategy and help evolve our architecture as the platform scales\nYou Must Have\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with deep expertise in C#/.NET\n3+ years of experience with Vue; React or Angular experience transfers well\nStrong experience building and operating production systems on Azure\nSolid experience with SQL Server - schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning\nGenuine enthusiasm for AI-assisted development. Hands-on experience using Claude Code as part of your engineering workflow\nA customer-first, product-minded approach to engineering.
