We bring advanced device technologies from development into scalable manufacturing.\nJoin a collaborative team where your hands-on engineering expertise can make a direct impact on fab performance, product quality and manufacturing scale-up.\nYour Opportunity at VueReal:\nWe're looking for a hands-on Semiconductor Process Engineer with strong photolithography experience and the versatility to support multiple fab processes. You'll own and improve lithography processes, troubleshoot equipment, increase yield and partner with R&D and Operations to bring new processes into repeatable production.\nYOUR Day-to-day Responsibilities:\nOperate, troubleshoot and optimize photolithography equipment, including spin coaters, mask aligners and/or maskless exposure systems, as applicable.\nSupport daily fab operations to meet production throughput, quality and yield targets.\nDevelop, qualify and optimize photoresist coating, exposure, development and pattern-transfer processes.\nMonitor critical process parameters using SPC, DOE and capability metrics, targeting Cpk ≥ 1.33 where applicable.\nIdentify root causes of defects and lead corrective actions to improve yield, repeatability and process stability.\nDevelop and deliver lithography yield-improvement initiatives with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.\nIntegrate lithography with upstream and downstream processes, working with wet processing, deposition, etch and metrology teams.\nSupport equipment qualification, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and recovery after tool downtime.\nSupport NPI and R&D-to-manufacturing transfer, including new processes, materials and equipment evaluation.\nMaintain clear process recipes, SOPs, work instructions and production documentation.\nCollaborate with Engineering and Operations teams while maintaining cleanroom safety and process-control standards.\nThe TOOLS and Skills You Need to Do the Job:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and practical experience.\nMinimum 3 years of hands-on photolithography or semiconductor process engineering experience, preferably in a production cleanroom.\nExperience operating, troubleshooting and optimizing lithography equipment and photoresist coating, exposure and development processes.\nExperience developing, maintaining or qualifying semiconductor manufacturing recipes and resolving process issues.\nStrong knowledge of cleanroom safety, SPC, DOE and data-driven process optimization.\nAbility to collaborate across multiple fab modules and communicate technical findings clearly.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nHands-on experience with at least one additional fab process: PVD/sputtering, wet etching/cleaning, RIE/ICP, PECVD or other deposition processes.\nExperience in equipment qualification, process integration, metrology or yield improvement.\nExperience using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and statistical process capability analysis.\nExperience supporting NPI, production ramp-up or technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing.\nExposure to microLED, MEMS, photonics, optoelectronics, DUV, maskless or nanoimprint lithography.\nWHY VueReal:\nCollaborative, innovative team where your practical engineering ideas can make a difference.\nOpportunities to work across semiconductor tools, processes and technologies.\nHands-on involvement in process development and manufacturing scale-up.\nPaid vacation.\nSick, personal and paid parental leave, subject to company policy.\nEmployee benefits plan.\nProfessional development and continuous learning opportunities.\nStock options.\nThe chance to help commercialize advanced Canadian semiconductor technology.\nA growing company working with major industry partners.\nVueReal Story:\nVueReal develops technologies for efficiently fabricating and integrating millions of micro and nano devices over large surfaces.
