Inspect, service, and clean concrete mixer truck.\nEssential Functions\nDelivery of Ready Mix Concrete Products\nCommunicate with Dispatcher/Plant Manager to receive instructions via 2-way radio in truck and direct-line telephone in yard\nPosition truck under batch plant to be loaded by Batch Plant Operator/Plant Manager\nReceive written or printed delivery ticket and follow instructions as directed\nFill truck's water tank and verify accurate slump of load, make adjustments as necessary\nSafely drive loaded truck to destination on delivery ticket and inspect jobsite upon arrival\nWork with customers to obtain adequate vehicle access and unload material\nRinse chutes and rear of truck to ensure absence of excess concrete\nVehicle Maintenance\nPerform pre-trip/post-trip vehicle safety inspection; document and report vehicle condition at beginning and end of each shift\nCheck all vehicle fluid levels daily and add fluids if necessary\nClean outside of vehicle to ensure absence of concrete build-up throughout each shift\nMay assist mechanics in vehicle repair and change tires as necessary\nCritical Competencies\nCommunication: Ability to clearly and effectively convey information, ideas, and messages to others in both written and verbal formats; can express one's thoughts clearly but also demonstrate active listening, understands the needs of the audience, and adapts the message to ensure it is understood.\nTeam Player: Actively contributes to the success of a team by working collaboratively with others, sharing responsibilities, and supporting team goals. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package.
