# Electrical Apprentice - Relocation Required

Job Summary An apprentice electrician assists journeymen and master electricians with installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems while learning the trade. Responsibilities include bending conduit, pulling wire, and utilizing hand tools. The role requires physical labor, adherence to safety codes, and completion of required educational coursework. Relocation required upon successful completion of this training program. Essential Functions Take an active role in prioritizing safety in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards throughout the plant for yourself and others at all times. Become Familiar with Tools and Equipment. Learn the practices, methods, tools, materials, and equipment of the Electrician’s trade, including how to operate and store all equipment. Learn the occupational hazards of the Electrician’s trade. Assist co-workers in the service, repair, calibration, regulation, fine-tuning, and testing of machines, devices, electrical systems, conductors, and associated equipment at aggregate, asphalt, ready-mix concrete, ship, and rail unloading systems.
