You will be responsible for end-to-end project management - from concept and design through cost control, construction, and successful commissioning.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDay to Day Activities. Uses AutoDesk products to perform design tasks and produce fabrication and erection drawings.\n\nInspect. Provides field supervision/inspection services on construction projects. Performs post-project review to ensure key objectives, cost/performance improvements, and rate of return are achieved\n\nPrepare Bid Packages. Prepares bid packages for construction and manages construction contracts\n\nProvide Updates.Provide project updates on a regular frequency to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress\n\nRepresent the Company. Represents the company to industry associations, government officials, and public agencies\n\nAdditional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned\n\nTravel. Varies based on projects up to 20%\n\n Skills You'll Need:\nSafety-Oriented. Sets a safety tone for all activities and upholds the highest standards for protecting people and the environment.\n\nEducation & Experience: BS degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Mining Engineering and/or 2+ years of experience using drafting software (i.e., AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.) to produce detailed plans, models, and blueprints for Industrial Projects.\n\nExperience supporting projects from concept to completion. Knowledge of concrete and steel design, building codes, and construction practices is an added benefit.\n\nExperience in a mining, industrial, or construction environment and/or other similar fields is desired.\n\nExperience with processing equipment and pumping equipment is desired.\n\nLeadership Skills. Acts decisively and supports all aspects of the company to work together to accomplish the objectives, vision, mission, and values of Vulcan. Trusts and allows people to do their job.
