We foster an inclusive culture where people take ownership, solve meaningful problems, and continuously learn, because we believe diverse perspectives lead to better outcomes.\nJob Purpose\nThe Supervisor, Final Release -Night Shift provides day-to-day leadership and supervision of the Final Release team, ensuring manufacturing records, documentation, inspections, and final release activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures, customer requirements, and applicable quality and regulatory standards.\nThis role is responsible for setting daily operational priorities, assigning work, monitoring workflow and schedules, reviewing team output, and ensuring policies, procedures, and quality requirements are consistently understood and followed. The Supervisor works closely with Operations, Program Management, Engineering, Customer Service, Distribution, and other cross-functional partners to address documentation or release issues and support on-time product release. The supervisor of Night Shift is 5-day on-site role which will coverMonday through Friday 3pm - 11pm.\nKey Responsibilities\nTeam Leadership & Daily Operations\nProvide direct, day-to-day supervision of the Final Release team, including assigning tasks, establishing priorities, monitoring work in progress, and ensuring daily schedules and commitments are achieved.\nSet daily operational objectives and communicate priorities, workload expectations, and changes to the team.\nMonitor individual and team performance, provide timely coaching and feedback, and ensure employees understand and follow established policies, procedures, and work instructions.\nCoordinate staffing and workload based on production priorities, release requirements, and business needs.\nTrain and support team members on Final Release processes, documentation requirements, quality systems, and established procedures.\nEscalate employee performance, resource, quality, or operational issues to Quality management as appropriate.\nFinal Release & Quality Execution\nOversee the flow of manufacturing and technical records through the Final Release process, ensuring records are properly prepared, reviewed, inspected, and completed.\nAssign and track work-in-progress records through completion and final disposition.\nEnsure timely and accurate Quality Assurance review of data entry, manufacturing documentation, technical records, Device History Records (DHRs), batch records, and final release documentation and generate CFC.\nEnsure each batch or product is inspected against applicable specifications and that physical product verification is completed before final disposition.\nEnsure records comply with applicable SOPs, customer requirements, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.\nReview documentation for completeness and accuracy and coordinate correction of missing, incomplete, or inaccurate information.\nEnsure Quality variances, documentation errors, deviations, and nonconformances are appropriately identified, initiated, documented, and escalated.\nSupport the tracking of nonconformances, deviations, and CAPAs through appropriate Quality processes.\nMaintain knowledge and effective use of ERP, QMS, and other applicable electronic systems.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nRepresent Quality/Final Release in production planning and prioritization meetings.\nCommunicate release status, documentation gaps, risks, and other issues that may impact schedules.\nWork with appropriate stakeholders to resolve routine and moderately difficult workflow, documentation, or release issues within established policies and procedures.\nEscalate issues requiring decisions outside established processes or the Supervisor's authority.\nProcess Compliance & Continuous Improvement\nEnsure the Final Release team consistently follows approved standard operating procedures and controlled work instructions.\nSupport the development and maintenance of controlled Final Release work instructions.\nIdentify opportunities to improve workflow, documentation quality, turnaround time, and execution of the Final Release process.\nProvide recommendations to Quality management regarding improvements to procedures, training, workflow, or operational practices.\nSupport implementation of approved process improvements within the team.\nMaintain appropriate operational metrics and communicate team performance, workload, backlog, and risks to Quality management.\nQualifications\n5+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance, final release, or a related regulated manufacturing environment. \nMedical devices or aerospace manufacturing experience are highly preferred. \nDemonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, train, or provide day-to-day direction to employees in a manufacturing or Quality environment.\nExperience reviewing Device History Records (DHRs), batch records, manufacturing records, or similar controlled documentation for completeness and compliance.\nExperience identifying, initiating, documenting, or tracking nonconformances, deviations, and/or CAPAs.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, technical specifications, work instructions, and controlled documentation.\nWorking knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ERP systems.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven manufacturing environment.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively across Quality, Operations, Engineering, Program Management, and other cross-functional teams.\nVulcanForms offers a competitive salary and equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
