We foster an inclusive culture where people take ownership, solve meaningful problems, and continuously learn, because we believe diverse perspectives lead to better outcomes.\nJob Purpose\nThe Supplier Quality Engineer at VulcanForms will be responsible for securing supplies and parts for the production facility, reviewing engineering and manufacturing specifications, communicating material and manufacturing specifications to suppliers, and resolving quality issues. Additionally, this role will focus on customer complaint intake and analysis, supplier data trending, and supplier qualifications.\nKey Responsibilities\nRepresents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and VulcanForms Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.\nDrives supplier quality performance, including new product development and product quality improvement\nProvides Quality interpretation of requirements. Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company, Customer and regulatory requirements.\nConducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.\nMaintains Supplier and Customer quality records\nSupports suppliers in the execution and verification of effectiveness of supplier corrective actions\nActs as a lead auditor for onsite and remote audits to assess supplier qualification\nRegularly participates or owns writing and updating QMS documentation\nParticipates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.\nPerforms analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing readiness.\nProvides material review dispositions for non-conformances.\nAnalyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.\nRecommends corrective actions to address non-conformances.\nLead investigator for all supplier caused nonconformities\nTravels to suppliers for qualification, development, and onsite inspection as required\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree or 3+ years equivalent experience in a medical device or aerospace environment\n3+ years of experience in a quality job role and 1+ years of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action\nExperience in an aerospace, medical device, or manufacturing environment\nExperience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) within a Supplier Quality organization\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience interfacing and presenting to senior and executive leadership\nExperience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications\nExperience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment\nExperience with regulatory requirements\nExperience reviewing contracts, managing suppliers, and/or experience working with inventory\nAbility to work well in a team environment\nAuditing accreditation to ASD9100 or ISO13485.\nVulcanForms offers a competitive salary and equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
