You'd be joining a team of kind, technically brilliant, and business-minded people who care as much about great work as they do about life outside it.\nAbout the role\nAs a senior data architect at Vuono Group, you work at the intersection of business needs and data infrastructure. Translating complex organisational challenges into scalable architectures, and staying close enough to the implementation to know whether they actually hold up in production.\nYou'll work alongside business stakeholders, data scientists, and developers. You listen, challenge assumptions, and make architecture decisions that hold up over time. You'll work on varied projects across different industries designing and implementing data pipelines, guiding long term and transformational data architecture development.\nBeyond client work, you'll help shape how we approach data engineering and data architectures as a practice, acting as a trusted partner and mentor to your peers as we grow.\nWhat we’re looking for:\nHands-on experience building production data pipelines\n\nStrong understanding of cloud-native data architectures across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud\n\nSolid programming skills in Python and SQL\n\nPrevious consulting experience\n\nExperience designing and implementing modern data architectures: lakehouses, data warehouses, data mesh, or event-driven systems\n\nUnderstanding of how data architectures support ML/AI workloads: feature stores, vector databases, RAG pipelines\n\nAbility to act as a trusted advisor for clients on platform and architecture choices - Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and similar\n\nExperience with modern data pipeline tooling such as dbt, Apache Kafka, or Airflow.\n\nAnalytical mindset and problem solving skills\n\nFluent communication and presentation skills in both Finnish and English\n\nMSc in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field\n\nLast but not least, a kind colleague who thrives in a flat, “no fluff” team.
