Leveraging your end-to-end expertise across IoT devices, wireless networks, cloud services, and software applications, you will act as a key technical interface between customers and product development as part of the IoT System Engineering Team.\nMain roles:\nAssist in transitioning product prototypes into production and provide feedback to R&D teams.\nSupport the deployment and installation of new products and solutions, working closely with customer project managers.\nAct as the primary technical contact for customers and internal teams during deployment and early adoption phases.\nProvide technical guidance and best practices to help customers maximize the value of the solution.\nTroubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams on resolutions.\nConduct on-site visits for installation support, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.\nIdentify risks and implement appropriate corrective actions.\nMonitor customer solutions and ensure product quality and reliability.\nDevelop and improve on-site troubleshooting processes and best practices.\nDocument, track and escalate issues when required.\nCreate and maintain troubleshooting guides, deployment procedures, and knowledge base articles.\n Education\nUniversity or Higher Technical College in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or other STEM or equivalent experience \nExperience\nMinimum 3 years of experience as an Application Engineer or in a similar technical customer-facing role, such as Technical Support Engineer, Sales Engineer, Product Manager, or Technical Account Manager, preferably within IoT, consumer electronics, or SaaS environments.\nSolid technical understanding and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nGood knowledge of IoT technologies and networking, including wireless communication protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Zigbee, and LoRa.\nExperience with software troubleshooting, basic coding or scripting, log analysis tools (e.g., Azure Kusto Query Language, Sumo Logic, Splunk), and Linux environments.\nSkills/Abilities:\nAbility to manage projects, coordinate multiple tasks, and deliver results within agreed timelines.\nStrong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the flexibility to adapt to evolving technologies and business needs.\nStrong data analysis skills, including the ability to process, interpret, and derive insights from complex datasets.\nFluent German and good knowledge of English\nWillingness to travel ( up to 40%)\nIndependent and solution-oriented working style\n We are innovative.
