We believe entrepreneurship is a calling and our mission is to empower.\n Main objectives:\nDevelop and maintain embedded software for Captana’s intelligent battery-powered IoT camera systems used for automated shelf monitoring in retail environments. Ensure reliable device operation, efficient wireless connectivity, low power consumption, and seamless integration with cloud, edge, and computer vision platforms.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop, maintain and optimize embedded software and firmware for battery-powered IoT camera devices.\nDesign and implement software for microcontroller-based platforms and integrate camera sensors and peripheral devices via SPI, I²C and UART.\nDevelop and improve wireless communication solutions using WiFi and BLE.\nDesign, implement, test and validate new software modules from prototype stage through field deployment.\nSupport hardware bring-up activities, debugging and root cause analysis.\nOptimize power consumption, reliability and communication stability.\nCollaborate with hardware, cloud, computer vision and software teams in international projects.\n Qualifications\nDegree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar\nExperience in embedded software development\nGood knowledge of C/C++\nInterest in Embedded Linux, RTOS, camera technologies and IoT systems\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work in interdisciplinary and international team\nLanguages\nGerman - fluent\nEnglish - fluent\n Wir sind innovativ.
