Responsibilities\nConduct inspection and testing of raw materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.\n\nDevelop, implement, and enforce quality control procedures and standards.\n\nDocument inspection results, test data, and quality reports accurately and promptly.\n\nIdentify quality issues with escalation to direct reporting\n\nMaintain laboratory inventory using KANBAN systems for chemicals and consumables.\n\nPerform routine and non-routine chemical testing on raw materials and finished products.\n\nOperate laboratory instruments (e.g., pH meter, conductivity meter, UV spectrophotometer, Karl Fischer titrator, FTIR, titration apparatus) in accordance with SOPs.\n\nFollow established test methods and compendial standards (USP, EP, BP, JP, ACS) and EXCIPACT guidelines.\n\nAnalyze test results, calculate data, and prepare reports to verify compliance with specifications.\n\nReview laboratory data forms, including water testing and direct measurement analyses.\n\nArrange Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.\n\nRecord final results and raw data in the SAP system.\n\nSupport investigations, customer complaints, and troubleshooting activities through detailed analytical review.\n\nApply appropriate disposition labels to materials (e.g., accepted, rejected, quarantined).\n\nHandle hazardous materials in compliance with safety protocols and using appropriate PPE.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)\nDiploma in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline_ /or ITE Certificate or Higher Nitec in Chemical Process Technology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.\n\nFormal training in laboratory practices, analytical techniques, and GMP/GLP standards is preferred.\n\nExperience\nMinimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a Quality Control laboratory within the pharmaceutical, chemical, or life sciences industry.\n\nExperience with compendial testing (USP, EP, BP, JP) and working in cleanroom environments is an advantage.\n\nFamiliarity with SAP and equipment calibration is desirable.\n\nCertifications\nCertification in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 17025), or EXCiPACT is a plus.\n\nSafety training for handling hazardous materials and PPE usage is required.\n\nSkills\nFTIR, USP, Quality Control and Assurance, Materials Inspection, Development, Data Testing, Reporting Quality, Raw
