This role is vital for maintaining data accuracy, communicating with stakeholders, and supporting the overall efficiency of planning processes to ensure effective and timely execution of planning activities.\nMAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAssist with Unit of Measure (UOM) changes, including inventory and consumption setting adjustments.\nPerform updates to material master data for routine changes (MOQ, rounding value).\nSupport product discontinuation activities, including centralizing and selling out remaining stock.\nManage batch and general transfer requests across the Europe distribution network.\nRespond to general sales order inquiries and escalate issues where necessary.\nProcess and analyze reservation contract for customers.\nProcess and analyze customer return requests.\nSupport CVC consistency checks and alignment in APO (Advanced Planning & Optimization).\nSupport with correct set up of our supply chain network flow, taking into account regulatory, temperature,… specifics of the materials\nAssist in warehouse relocation activities by updating supply chain network settings and monitoring stock movement.\nConduct monthly checks on stock discrepancies (e.g., incorrect locations), overstocked locations and perform corrective actions.\nRelease blocked sales orders (P2 blocks) by liaising with Customer Service teams.\nHandle ad hoc reporting and data preparation (e.g., SRF reporting, consumption copies).\nSupport with allocation and responding to mails received at the central planning mailbox\n\nQUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications):Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Management or other applicable discipline preferred.\n1-3 years supply chain experience.\nAPICS/CPIM certification desirable.\nExperience with ERP systems (especially SAP), experience with forecasting tools (e.g., APO) is strongly desired.\nStrong analytical mindset; comfortable working with large data sets.\nProactive and curious; willing to ask questions and seek clarification.\nCapable of working independently and remotely, following established procedures.\nDetail-oriented, and highly organized.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with PowerBI and QlikView for reporting.\n\nWhy Avantor?\nDare to go further in your career.
