Here, you’ll find a place where your ideas are heard, your contributions are valued, and your career can thrive.\nResponsibilities\nWork with client Epic teams and senior analysts to extract assigned data feeds from Epic for the VytlAIQ platform, following the VytlAIQ data input matrix.\nTravel to client health system sites to support on-site data acquisition work, discovery sessions, and testing.\nWork directly with the customer's IT, Epic/informatics, and operations staff on assigned feeds, escalating broader cross-team coordination needs to senior team members.\nBuild, configure, and validate Epic reports and extracts using Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, and SlicerDicer.\nSupport Epic interface work for HL7 v2 (ADT, SIU, REF), FHIR R4, and SMART on FHIR feeds, coordinating with client interface analysts and VytlOne's data platform team.\nDocument report and interface specifications, field mappings, and extraction steps for assigned feeds.\nConfigure and test file-based feeds delivered via PGP-encrypted SFTP.\nPerform validation, reconciliation, and quality checks on extracted data, and resolve discrepancies with client contacts and senior analysts.\nTrack and fully document changes to specifications; maintain accurate records for each client's feeds.\nParticipate in requirements gathering with client stakeholders and translate needs into extraction specifications.\nEnsure assigned data acquisition activity follows HIPAA, BAA terms, minimum-necessary principles, and 340B program requirements.\nProvide end-user support for assigned feeds and liaise with client and vendor technical staff for problem resolution.\nProvide status updates and escalate blockers to senior team members.\nDevelop organizational, business, application, and functional process knowledge to identify process gaps and areas for improvement.\nQualifications\nEducation:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a similar discipline from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.\nExperience:\n3-4 years of directly related experience working with Epic in a health system, health IT, or vendor capacity.\nExperience in a client-facing role, working on-site with customer IT, Epic/informatics, and operations staff.\nExperience building and validating Epic reports and extracts using Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, and/or SlicerDicer.\nWorking experience with healthcare integration standards: HL7 v2 (ADT, SIU, REF), FHIR R4, and/or SMART on FHIR.\nExperience with file-based data feeds and SFTP; PGP encryption experience desirable.\nExperience working with client or end-user technical contacts to gather requirements.\nFamiliarity with Epic's data model (Clarity / Caboodle) desirable.\nEpic Willow pharmacy data exposure desirable.\nHealthcare data experience with an understanding of PHI handling under HIPAA.\n340B program or pharmacy data exposure desirable.\nEpic certification preferred; VytlOne will sponsor certification for qualified candidates.\nProficiency in SQL for data extraction and validation.\nExperience with Agile and/or Waterfall development methodologies.\nKnowledge of JIRA and ServiceNow desirable.\nAzure Cloud exposure desirable.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nExcellent written communication skills to deliver technical and interface specifications.\nExcellent verbal communication skills to interview and gather requirements from business and technical personnel.\nAbility to develop and read IT models (data flow, interface, and application diagrams).\nFundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills to understand clinical and pharmacy data and workflows.\nAbility to work closely with stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions.\nClient-facing skills, with the ability to work professionally with customer IT, Epic/informatics, and operations staff on-site.\nExperience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.\nCompetency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.\nExperience in data validation, user testing, and project participation.\nAbility to follow through on commitments.\nExcellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.\nExperience developing and participating in top-performing teams.\nChange-Oriented Thinking.\nAdaptability and Flexibility.\nProgress over Perfection.\nCollaborative Mindset.\nManages Self.\nEmbraces Modeling and Prototyping.\nWE OFFER\nAt VytlOne we offer a diverse and inclusive work culture that supports a flexible work model in a collaborative, innovative team-oriented environment.
