Also required will be the supervision and technical management of all daily construction operations, oversight and management of all subcontractors, owner vendors and other construction related personnel.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Skills\nCapable of successfully supervising a project with a project budget range of $60M - $150M+, under various delivery methods, diversity in market sectors and varying complexities\nPossess the ability to manage and organize a large project staff\nShows aptitude in managing large projects with multiple WEO personalities, subcontractors, vendors, etc.\nPossess the ability to manage one or more projects simultaneously with the adequate support staff\nFrequently involved in the RFQ / RFP process and resume has the ability to sell and secure work as the Senior Project Superintendent\nDeep seated industry relationships with past clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and vendors\nCapable of holding team accountable for their areas of responsibility\nTakes the lead to resolve conflicts between the field and project management staff\nCan provide healthy objective feedback to the project staff and receive similar feedback from upper management\nDevelop, maintain and enforce a project specific site logistics plan and temporary facilities\nDevelop, maintenance and enforcement of project specific site safety programs\nCoordinate and manage all material deliveries and subcontracts\nAssist the Project Manager in the preparation of the scopes of work for bid packages and / or subcontractor subcontracts\nProvide input to the Project Manager on all field activities that impact the Change Order process\nDevelop, maintenance and enforcement of the overall baseline schedule and 8-week look ahead project specific schedules\nImplementation and management of all SWPPP measures and documentation\nObtain and maintain QSP certification, if required by the specific project you are overseeing\nPossess knowledge of all documents associated with the project including plans, specifications, prime contract, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings and submittals\nReads and understands subcontracts and the associated exhibits. Has the ability to enforce contractual obligations in the field\nMaintain a complete and accurate set of working documents and As-Builts\nProvide technical assistance to all members of the project team\nCoordinate all field inspections and testing \nManagement Skills\nAssist in providing pertinent field information that could affect the Monthly Reconciliation Report accuracy and forecasts\nDevelop, implementation, and enforcement of project-specific quality control program to include all subcontractors\nPrepare and maintain the projects P6 baseline schedule and all subsequent monthly updates\nPrepare and maintain the projects eight-week look ahead schedules\nInsert schedule delays / fragnets into master P6 schedule to properly document delays\nMonitor all job site control reporting measures. Assign areas of the project to your field support staff and oversee their progress\nVideo record / document all existing project conditions prior to any construction on site\nWeekly progress photos to be properly labeled and filed on Box.Com\nConduct, and / or delegate, prepare meeting minutes for all weekly subcontractor meetings, pre-installation meetings, safety meetings, etc.\nCreate, and / or delegate, and issue all project specific Incident Reports\nSchedule, chair, and / or delegate, all JHA related meetings. Utilize the WEO safety department when applicable\nOversee and manage the daily coordination of all daily subcontractor activities\nProvides input to the Project Manager on field activities that have cost impacts in the field. Follows WEO procedures for documenting all change order and back charge related work\nDocument all actions dealing with actual or possible claims / legal action\nEnsure that all requirements of insurance, labor relations, and EEO are adhered to\nOversight and supervision of all WEO employed or 3rd party provided laborers\nPrepare and submit weekly time sheets pertaining to WEO specific labor force\nAssist the Project Manager in the development of the General Conditions budget\nAssist the Project Manager in the development of all subcontractor specific scopes of work, which will be an exhibit to their subcontract\nUnderstands and enforces WEO and Cal-OSHA safety standards\nCollects man counts and daily reports for each subcontractor on site. Writes concise, comprehensive descriptions of each day’s work performed on site in WEO daily report\nCreate and manage completion and punch lists and ensure the timely completion of all punch lists and completion lists items\nResponsible for mentoring of field staff and conducting annual performance reviews\nHas a coaching tree of successful Project Superintendent(s), Assistant Project Superintendent(s), and Field Engineer(s), which serves as proof of an ability to mentor and train your replacement\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nPersonal Attributes\nEffective written and verbal language communication skills\nEffective time management and organization skills\nTakes initiative, strives for increased responsibility and has a desire to learn\nShows emotional maturity, punctuality and dependability \nInterpersonal Skills\nEstablish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all (client, design professionals, various WEO departments, WEO project team, inspectors, and subcontractors)\nMotivate and build teamwork/morale in the project team\nMentor, coach and train as necessary to help subordinates achieve their career objectives\nAssist in creating content and have involvement in establishing the WEO training program\nAs a leader in the company provide training classes for all subordinates (FE - PS)\nInvolvement with the various WEO committees and part of establishing procedures and policies\nPromote WEO Corporate Values with the project team, client and subcontractors\nShow alignment with and promotes WEO Corporate Values\n\nQualifications:\nFour-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience in a related field or 10-15 minimum years of relevant project field experience, as a Field Engineer, Assistant Project Superintendent, Project Superintendent or equivalent\n\nProficiency in basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Project or P6 Scheduling Software and Project Management Software, such as Prolog, Viewpoint, CMiC or equivalent applications.
