We provide the trusted foundation operators need to run their rail networks, being \"Your partner for confidence.\"\nJob description\nWe are seeking a driven and technically sound Assistant Manager - Business Development to strengthen our presence in the railway signalling sector. The ideal candidate should have strong understanding of signalling systems.\n\nKey roles & responsibilities\nFirst point of contact for the clients/customers for whom the bids proposals are rolled out on Technical & commercial perspective, for their respective region.\n\nBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and projects. And maintain order intake and sales numbers updated in Sales tool (Sales cloud).\n\nTrack upcoming tenders, RFQs, RFPs, and pre-qualification notices (NIT) published by railway zones, metros, and PSUs.\n\nIdentify and map new business opportunities across Indian Railways, Metro Rail Corporations, DFCCIL, RVNL, and private EPC players in the signalling and train control domain.\n\nSupport commercial negotiations, contract finalization, and order booking in coordination with senior management and BID teams.\n\nAnalysis and support to bid team for tender documents to identify applicable Tender requirements while preparing the bid estimates.\n\nComply with company policies with regard to business ethic and professional conduct.\n\nAnalysis of all tenders/ bids and offers sent to bring out trends and lessons learnt\n\nPrepare periodic business development reports and forecasts for management review.\n\nUndertake Lessons learnt exercise on bids and ensure feedback loop into other bids and projects\n\nAuthorities\nReview of Bids/Proposal as per the delegation matrix\nBD Process Owner\nQualification & required technical skill sets\nBE/B.Tech with 10-12 years (with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Railway signalling field).\n\nExperience in the railway, metro, signaling, rail infrastructure, rolling stock, railway automation, railway safety, or transportation technology industry is preferred.\n\nExperience working with Railway OEMs, EPC companies, system integrators, consultants, or government/railway organizations will be an advantage.\n\nMBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or related specialization will be an advantage.\n\nThorough knowledge of RDSO standards, IRS specifications, and marketing strategies\n\nPersonal attributes\nCommunication skills\n\nPresentation skills\n\nLeadership skills\n\nComputer skills\n\nCross functional coordination skills\n\nAnalytical thinking\n\nConfidentiality\n\nPersuasiveness & negotiation skills\n\nInterpersonal skills\n\nWork location\nFSTI, Gurgaon office\n\nIn short: People who aspire for more - individuals who are willing to contribute their passion, creativity and skills to help advance our shared vision.
