The role serves as the primary point of contact for order execution and is accountable for supplier performance, material availability, fulfilment KPIs, and cross-functional coordination to support uninterrupted production.\nSupplier Management\nEnsure timely PO placement and material delivery as per contractual commitments.\nManage procurement based on MRP requirements and need dates.\nMonitor supplier OTD (On-Time Delivery) and quality performance.\nLead discussions related to material shortages and supply crises.\nObtain and review supplier progress reports.\nIdentify supplier-caused delays and drive recovery/back-charge actions where applicable.\nExecute supplier improvement plans and corrective actions.\nEnsure suppliers are paid on time.\nDeliver fulfilment KPIs consistently.\nCross functional coordination\nManage the complete order fulfilment cycle.\nCoordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Logistics, Sourcing, and Supplier Quality teams.\nFacilitate inspections, NCR closures, and transportation planning.\nSupport new product development and supplier onboarding activities.\nCollaborate with Wabtec network factories and offshore suppliers.\nParticipate in daily material and production review meetings.\nReporting & material visibility\nProvide end-to-end material visibility and tracking.\nMonitor material movement between suppliers and factories until GRN.\nDrive best practices in MRP/MTA planning and fulfilment processes.\nLead or participate in supplier performance rating and improvement programs.\nMaintain accurate reporting and analytics for management reviews.\nRequired Skills\nTechnical & Functional Skills\nProcurement and supplier management.\nMRP and production planning understanding.\nERP knowledge (Oracle preferred).\nAdvanced Excel and MS Office skills.\nData analysis and reporting capabilities.\nUnderstanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.\nCommercial acumen and contract awareness.\nBehavioural Competencies\nStrong leadership and stakeholder management.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\nProblem-solving and proactive mindset.\nConflict resolution abilities.\nStrong collaboration and networking skills.\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple suppliers/projects simultaneously.\nKey Success Metrics (KPIs)\nSupplier OTD performance.\nMaterial availability versus production requirements.\nLine stoppage prevention.\nInventory and material visibility accuracy.\nSupplier issue resolution turnaround time.\nFulfilment KPI achievement.\nSupplier payment compliance.\nOrganizational Reporting\nHierarchical reporting to Fulfillment Leader\nEducation & Working Experience\nB.E./B.Tech from any reputed institute.\nMinimum 5+ years of experience.\nLanguage Skills\nProficient in English language\nBase Location\nMarhowrah (Saran).\nTravel\nNeed based to All India based suppliers.\nWhat could you accomplish in a place that puts People First?\nAt Wabtec, it’s not just about a job - it’s about the impact you make.
