The role operates with a high degree of independence and judgment, partnering with senior business leaders to manage legal risk and enable business objectives through practical advice.\nWhat will your typical day look like?\nCommercial Contracting & Global Sourcing\nServe as lead legal advisor to the Global Sourcing organization, advising senior leaders on supplier relationships, contracting strategy, and risk mitigation.\nLead the drafting and negotiation of complex commercial agreements.\nImprove contract templates, playbooks, and contract lifecycle management technology, and train business teams on contracting and commercial risk.\nLitigation & Dispute Resolution\nAdvise leaders on dispute strategy, exposure, and settlement options, and apply lessons learned to contracts and templates.\nSelect, direct, and oversee outside counsel, including scope, budgets, and deliverables, as applicable.\nEducational Requirements\nJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.\nActive membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.\nWhat do we want to know about you?\n10+ years of progressively responsible legal experience advising sophisticated corporate clients in a law firm and/or in-house legal environment.\nSignificant experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts, preferably procurement, sourcing, supply, services, and technology agreements.\nProven ability to act as a strategic legal partner to senior leaders, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.\nExperience managing supplier-related disputes and litigation, including outside counsel.\nStrong knowledge of contract law, commercial transactions, litigation, governance, and compliance.\nSound business judgment, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a commitment to the highest ethical standards.\nExperience with legal technology and AI tools (such as Harvey AI) and contract lifecycle management systems is preferred.\nThis role is also eligible for a performance bonus. The salary rate for this role is currently $164900-235000 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
