This position might require flexibility to work overtime on Fridays and Saturdays.\n4800 Deramus Ave, Kansas City, MO 64120\nWhat we want to know about you:\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred\nBasic knowledge of mechanical or industrial processes\nExperience using hand tools or power tools in a manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, or mechanical environment preferred\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nBasic mechanical aptitude and understanding of component disassembly and assembly\nAbility to use hand, power, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively\nAbility to read, understand, and follow standard work instructions, SOPs, and safety documentation\nAbility to maintain 5S and workplace organization standards\nAbility to understand and follow basic safety and work instructions in English\nWhat will your typical day look like?\nDisassemble air brake components using hand, power, and pneumatic tools\nFollow detailed work instructions, SOPs, JSAs, and routing documentation\nClean, wash, buff, and blow out components using solvents, parts washers, and air tools\nInspect components during disassembly to identify defects or non-conformances\nEnsure parts are processed according to the production schedule and routing requirements\nOperate equipment safely and shut down equipment when not in use\nFollow all safety policies, PPE requirements, ESD protocols, and plant rules\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S standards\nRotate between tasks and workstations as needed to support production flow\nCommunicate issues, shortages, or safety concerns to supervision\nPerform other duties as assigned to support operational needs\nMust be willing to cross train\nFollow safety protocols and adhere to all PPE requirements\nPerform other duties as assigned\nWhat about the physical demand of the job:\nPhysical Demands: (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
