Visit our website to learn more!\nRole Summary/Purpose:\nWe are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to support the Kinetix platform by driving automation, cloud adoption, infrastructure modernization, and reliable application delivery. This role will work closely with development, infrastructure, and architecture teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud and on-premises environments, support production operations, and improve deployment efficiency.\nThe DevOps Engineer will help maintain and enhance enterprise applications while contributing to cloud migration initiatives, infrastructure automation, and operational excellence across the Kinetix ecosystem.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.\nSupport application deployments across development, test, and production environments.\nManage and maintain Windows Server-based infrastructure.\nPartner with development teams to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.\nSupport cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.\nAssist with application and infrastructure migration from on-premises environments to the cloud.\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.\nDeploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based applications and services.\nSupport release management activities, including manual and automated deployments.\nMonitor application and infrastructure health and resolve operational issues.\nAssist in maintaining data center infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.\nIdentify opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.\nCollaborate with architects, developers, and support teams to improve system reliability and scalability.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, or related roles.\nExperience building and supporting GitLab CI/CD pipelines.\nWorking knowledge of .NET and C/C++ application environments.\nExperience supporting Windows Server environments.\nExperience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.\nExperience deploying and managing Kubernetes environments.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting enterprise-scale applications and infrastructure.\nExperience with cloud migration and modernization programs.\nAWS or Microsoft Azure certifications.\nExperience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.\nExperience working within Agile and DevOps delivery environments.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nKnowledge of CI/CD concepts, DevOps practices, and software delivery pipelines.\nUnderstanding of cloud infrastructure and hybrid data center environments.\nExperience with release management and production support processes.\nFamiliarity with application remoting and remote system management technologies.\nKnowledge of infrastructure automation and configuration management.\nExperience supporting containerized applications and Kubernetes platforms.\nAbility to diagnose issues across application, infrastructure, networking, and deployment layers.\nStrong analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nGood communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.\nApplies values, business strategy, policies, precedents, and experience to make effective decisions.\nChallenges conventional thinking and identifies opportunities for operational improvement.\nDesired Characteristics\nStrong technical aptitude, including applicable Engineering tools and systems.\nStrong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to meeting deadlines\nTeam player with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment\nOur Commitment to Embrace Diversity:\nWabtec is a global company that invests not just in our products, but also our people by embracing diversity and inclusion.
