L&M Radiator, Inc. is a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor or MESABI cooling and heat transfer solutions that are custom-made for heavy equipment in the mining, oil, gas, construction and heavy industrial industries.\nYou will be working closely with WHSE Manager, the Production team and Human resources and the Site Director/General Manager WHSE. You will be reporting to the Site Director.\nWhere is the position located? This is full-time, permanent position at our office in Welshpool, WA.\nWhat will your typical day look like?\nPromote a high level of standard across health, safety and environmental management and adhere to safe work practices at all times.\n\nBe willing to learn and develop as a EHS Professional\n\nAssist in the development and deployment of company policies, systems and programs to ensure positive EHS outcomes are reached for staff, clients and contractors\n\nAssist in the provision of EHS training to staff on industry best practice, company requirements, legislative requirements\n\nAssist and report on accident/incident investigations and prevention initiatives and strategies\n\nAssist with project and facility compliance events including audits, inspections, observations and reviews.\n\nConfidence in communicating across the business, in open forums and in response to EHS related requirements.\n\nProviding written and documented KPI reports for projects and facilities\n\nParticipate in EHS Project and Facility Risk Assessments\n\nRespond to workplace, project and facility demands with clear and concise methods and a good ability to prioritise demands\n\nBe a team player with a strong work ethic and ability to engage with all workers, in person.\n\nBe comfortable in attending construction site-based projects, facility workshops and office environments and have an understanding of the EHS related risks that may occur within.\n\nAssist in the management of EHS within projects with team members\n\nMaintains and fosters relationships with current and potential stakeholders, in particular direct workgroups, contractors and subcontractors\n\nWhat do we want to know about you?\nCert 4 WHS with recent, relevant, EHS Experience\n\nExperience in implementing EHS Systems\n\nProficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Word and Excel\n\nPrepared to travel as required to meet project demands and ensure high risk activities are managed effectively\n\nIncident Investigation Qualification or willingness to train in techniques such as ICAM\n\nPreferred\nCert IV Training & Assessing or willingness to obtain credentials\n\nAuditing experience or willingness to obtain credentials\n\nDemonstrated ability to identify problems, analyse data, generate opinions and implement innovative solutions to complex problems.\n\nApplicants must have current working rights in Australia.
