When necessary, you will lead pre-project assessments, evaluate feasibility, build business cases and coordinate project execution.\nThis position offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of business and digital transformation topics within a global industrial environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nBusiness Partnership & Demand Management\nAct as the primary IT contact for business stakeholders across multiple functions.\nUnderstand operational challenges and identify opportunities where technology can create value.\nChallenge and refine business requests to ensure clear objectives and expected outcomes.\nTranslate business requirements into structured IT initiatives.\nSolution Assessment & IT Roadmap Alignment\nReview incoming requests against existing global Wabtec applications, platforms and ongoing programs.\nIdentify opportunities to leverage existing solutions rather than creating local developments.\nCoordinate the handover of requests to global IT teams when a suitable solution already exists.\nPre-Project Analysis & Feasibility Studies\nLead discovery workshops with stakeholders.\nConduct preliminary assessments\nProject Management\nManage the Project in line with our IT PMO structure and process\nHighlight issues and call for action in case of unresolved strategic topics that put projects on hold.\nPreferred Background\nEducation\nDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.\nExperience\nMinimum 5-7 years of experience in IT Project Management, Business Applications, Business Analysis or IT Business Relationship Management.\nExperience within a manufacturing, industrial or operations-driven environment is strongly preferred.\nProven experience translating business requirements into digital or software-based solutions.\nExperience working with ERP, MES, Supply Chain, HR, Finance or other business applications.\nExperience managing feasibility studies, business cases and application deployment projects.\n What could you accomplish in a place that puts People First?\nAt Wabtec, it’s not just about a job - it’s about the impact you make.
