This role will be central to the Bogies team by leading all Quality related activities from root cause investigations, customer and product audits, ensuring FAI’s are fully documented and working closely with internal customer’s.\nWhat you will be doing…\nLead quality activities for the bogie product range, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.\nReview supplier documentation and complete ISIR/FAIR inspections.\nManage quality records, non-conformances, and supplier quality issues through WIM reporting.\nRelease compliant products to production and quarantine non-conforming items.\nAssess returned products, investigate quality concerns, and report findings.\nLiaise with customers and suppliers to resolve rejects and quality-related issues.\nMaintain inspection and quarantine areas in line with 5S standards.\nPrepare quality improvement reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.\nEscalate ongoing quality issues and drive corrective actions.\nEnsure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.\nProvide wider quality support, including basic Quality Engineer responsibilities as required by the business.\nAre you an individual with the following?\nHND or an Equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering\nInternal Auditor qualification\nGood Knowledge of core quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, PPAP, with demonstrated application in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to use calibrated equipment and inspect components.\nAbility to read and understand engineering drawings.\nOrganised with the ability to manage multiple issues.\nIT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.\nIf you don’t have all the above criteria don’t worry, we would still like to hear from you as we live our values and always put people first and strive to expand what is possible.\nApply today!\nLegal authorisation to work in the UK is required.
