This role partners closely with HR Operations, Global Process Owners (GPOs), the PMO, and HR Technology and Analytics team members to deliver scalable and effective Workday solutions that support business objectives.\nThe ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Workday Core HCM together with experience supporting multiple Workday functional areas. The Senior Workday Functional Analyst serves as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, leads solution design efforts, and partners across HR functions to deliver scalable and effective Workday solutions.\nWorkday Configuration & Solution Design\nConfigure and maintain Workday Core HCM functionality, including Business Processes, Organizational Structures, Supervisory Organizations, Job Profiles, Staffing Models, Custom Reports, and Calculated Fields.\nLead solution design discussions and recommend scalable approaches aligned with Workday best practices.\nAnalyze complex business requirements and translate them into functional system configurations.\nSupport and lead testing activities, including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex configuration, process, and system issues.\nStakeholder Partnership\nServe as a strategic partner to HR Operations, Global Process Owners (GPOs), Product Leads, PMO resources, and HR leaders.\nLead requirements gathering, business analysis, and solution design activities.\nAdvise stakeholders on Workday capabilities, limitations, and recommended approaches.\nFacilitate discussions to align business needs with standardized processes and enterprise governance.\nSupport organizational change management and adoption efforts.\nSecurity Administration\nSupport and maintain Workday security configuration and access controls.\nAssist with security design, troubleshooting, audits, and periodic access reviews.\nEnsure security configurations align with governance, compliance, and audit requirements.\nContinuous Improvement & Governance\nEvaluate new Workday functionality and participate in release planning activities.\nIdentify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort, and improve user experience.\nMaintain accurate configuration documentation and solution designs.\nSupport governance, change management, and enhancement review processes.\nContribute to HR Technology standards, best practices, and knowledge-sharing efforts.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.\n5+ years of Workday functional experience.\nHands-on configuration experience in Workday Core HCM.\nExperience supporting and configuring one or more additional Workday functional areas such as Talent & Performance, Compensation, Recruiting, Absence, Time Tracking, Learning, or Security.\nExperience leading solution design discussions and translating complex business requirements into scalable solutions.\nStrong understanding of end-to-end HR business processes and their interaction across Workday modules.\nExperience partnering with HR Operations, COEs, and business stakeholders.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience across multiple Workday functional domains.\nExperience supporting global HR processes.\nExperience working with Global Process Owners and enterprise governance models.\nExperience participating in Workday implementations, acquisitions, or large-scale transformation initiatives.\nWorkday Pro certifications\nKey Competencies\nWorkday Core HCM\nTalent & Performance\nCompensation\nAbsence and Time Tracking\nSolution Design\nStakeholder Management\nRequirements Analysis\nWorkday Security\nChange Management\nContinuous Improvement\n What could you accomplish in a place that puts People First?\nAt Wabtec, it’s not just about a job - it’s about the impact you make.
