This position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient deployment and operation of WAN, LAN, and WLAN environments.\nYou will contribute to both strategic initiatives and daily operations, ensuring network performance, reliability, and scalability aligned with business demands. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will lead or support high-impact projects and provide technical guidance to internal teams, service desk, and external partners.\nAdditionally, you will be responsible for maintaining network standards, supporting infrastructure evolution, and ensuring delivery excellence through strong stakeholder engagement and structured project execution.\nWhat do we want to know about you?\nBachelor’s degree in STEM fields required\nAdvanced English proficiency\nExperience in Information Technology with focus on networking technologies (Cisco, Aruba, Nexus, HP, CheckPoint, ASA, Fortinet, SD-WAN, QoS)\nProven experience with WAN, LAN, and WLAN design in enterprise environments\nExperience with data center networking technologies (Cisco, HPE Aruba, Arista)\nStrong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and routing (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and DNS\nExperience troubleshooting routing and DNS issues and implementing remediation actions\nKnowledge of ITIL V3 or V4 (certification is a plus)\nCisco or HP network certifications are a plus\nPrevious experience in industrial environments is a plus\nWhat will your typical day look like?\nWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and deploy network (LAN/WAN/WLAN) standards\nLead or contribute to network infrastructure projects with significant business impact\nEnsure timely delivery of projects in coordination with internal teams and external vendors\nManage and support daily network operations, ensuring availability and reliability\nDefine site network requirements and prepare cost estimates aligned with business needs\nMaintain network architecture documentation and operational procedures\nMonitor network performance and act as escalation point for critical incidents\nTroubleshoot complex network issues (L3 support) and communicate status updates\nManage voice and internet circuits, including QoS optimization\nSupport testing and integration of new hardware and software platforms\nProvide guidance and technical support to the Service Desk team\nControl regional infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with timelines and business goals\nManage project risks, issues, scope, and changes to ensure successful delivery\nReport project status and proactively resolve blockers\nOrganize and facilitate project meetings and stakeholder alignment\nBenefícios:\nNa Wabtec, pessoas estão em primeiro lugar.
