Visit our website to learn more!\nSummary: \nThe mission of the Wabtec IT Applications team is to create long-term, sustainable value through strong business partnerships, innovative solutions, disciplined execution, and reliable operation of application platforms and products.\nThe Global PLM IT team delivers world-class solutions to cross-functional internal stakeholders, enabling optimized product lifecycle management, streamlined workflows, stronger collaboration, accelerated innovation, and achievement of strategic business objectives.\nAs a Senior Software Architect, you will partner closely with IT teams and cross-functional business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions are aligned with business goals while balancing quality, cost, scalability, and delivery timelines.\nYou will lead architecture and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, ensuring effective planning, execution, governance, and delivery of PLM and software solutions.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nLead and coordinate technical and business discussions related to future architecture direction across multiple teams or complex product lines.\nAnalyze current-state and target-state environments, then define cohesive architecture roadmaps and implementation plans.\nReview, analyze, and develop domain-level architecture solutions in collaboration with multiple teams.\nParticipate in enterprise architecture governance and domain-level architecture review processes.\nContribute to the design and development of service-oriented software and data platforms with reusable components that can be leveraged across teams and business processes.\nLead research and evaluation of emerging technologies, industry trends, and market practices to support project delivery and operational excellence across complex scenarios.\nProvide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentoring across the domain.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in Teamcenter PLM customization, configuration, development, and solution mapping.\nProven experience as a PLM Solution Architect or Senior Technical Architect in a complex enterprise environment.\nIn-depth knowledge of the Teamcenter data model, including business objects, relationships, workflows, and configuration principles.\nStrong hands-on experience with Teamcenter BMIDE, including data model extensions, templates, rules, and deployment practices.\nAdvanced knowledge of Teamcenter Java SOA APIs and server-side customization.\nIn-depth knowledge of Teamcenter-NX integration and related engineering process flows.\nHands-on experience with Teamcenter ITK development, custom utilities, integrations, and extensions.\nExperience with Teamcenter reporting capabilities and data extraction mechanisms.\nFunctional knowledge of Teamcenter Systems Engineering capabilities and related business processes.\nFunctional knowledge of the Teamcenter security model, including Access Manager, organization structure, roles, groups, and permissions.\nStrong understanding of Teamcenter architecture, including volumes, licensing, FMS, scalability, performance, and deployment considerations.\nAbility to contribute to enterprise strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, value case definition, and innovation portfolio planning.\nAbility to review, analyze, and define domain-level architectural requirements aligned with software development strategy and enterprise architecture standards.\nExperience leading or facilitating architecture governance processes in alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders at multiple levels.\nHigh level of personal integrity, accountability, and professional judgment.\nInnovative mindset and leadership capabilities, with the ability to guide, motivate, and collaborate with cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams.\nAbility and willingness to travel occasionally, including internationally, up to 15%.\nWork Environment: \nThe employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment with frequent use of electronic office equipment.
