Our program goal is to bring your academic topics to life, give you an opportunity to see what job opportunities are possible and prepare each student for a potential full-time position after graduation in one of our challenging rotational programs or direct hire roles.\nIn addition to your role, you will have opportunities for professional, training and social activities throughout the experience that provide a valuable network with your Intern peers all the way up to senior leaders.\nRequirements - We are looking for YOU if you have:\nCompleted at least one year of college (Rising Sophomore).\nAre enrolled in an accredited engineering degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related technical degree.\nIf you have and maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale after completing full year of college.\nOpen to applicants legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities: \nStrong initiative with the ability to work independently and in teams.\nDemonstrated experience in leadership roles.\nStrong desire to learn and develop technically in engineering roles to supplement classroom learning.\nAbility to communicate technical aptitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication & interpersonal skills.\nAble to work for a minimum of 10 weeks (maximum of 12).\nLocations:\nInterns have the opportunity to work at our Erie, PA or Grove City, PA sites.\nOther locations possible with business approval.\nOur hourly rates for summer internships range from $19 to $33/hr. The actual hourly rate is based on a matrix determined by your year in school/graduation year and your major. To qualify for the master's rate, you will be required to provide proof of your undergraduate degree and date of graduation as well as enrollment in an accredited university master's program for the fall 2027.\nOur job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $19-33 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
