You will actively participate in design reviews, code reviews, and pull request approvals, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.\nYou will influence both technical decisions and delivery execution, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.\nYour role will be critical in mentoring the team, reducing technical debt, and ensuring systems are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals.\nWhat do we want to know about you?\nRequired\nStrong experience with VB.NET development.\nSolid experience with SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.\nProven experience in technical leadership or senior role.\nStrong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.\nHands-on experience with: Azure DevOps (Repos, Boards, Pipelines)\nCI/CD implementation and management\n\nStrong experience conducting:Code reviews\nDesign reviews\nTechnical analysis and pull request approvals\n\nAbility to define and evaluate technical solutions and trade-offs.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to manage priorities and ensure delivery within deadlines.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nFast learning skills to understand domain knowledge related to railway systems.\n Advanced English (mandatory).\nAvailability to travel domestically and internationally, according to project and customer needs.\nDesirable\nExperience with railway systems or train dispatching systems.\nKnowledge of mission-critical or real-time systems.\nExperience with legacy systems modernization.\nFamiliarity with DevOps culture and automation strategies beyond CI/CD.\nFull-stack knowledge is a plus.\nwill your typical day look like?\nDefine and review software architecture and technical solutions.\nLead and participate in design reviews and technical discussions.\nPerform code reviews and approve pull requests, ensuring high-quality standards.\nGuide the team in implementing solutions using VB.NET and SQL Server.\nCollaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to refine requirements.\nDesign, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.\nMonitor development progress and ensure on-time delivery of features and fixes.\nMentor developers and provide technical guidance.\nIdentify and mitigate technical risks and bottlenecks.\nConsolidate key stakeholders’ knowledge on railway systems.\nBenefícios:\nNa Wabtec, pessoas estão em primeiro lugar.
