You will lead the warehouse team, optimize logistics performance, and support our journey toward operational excellence.\nHow will your typical workday look like?\nLead and organize warehouse and internal logistics operations\nEnsure inventory accuracy and maintain optimal stock levels\nOversee inbound, storage, line feeding, finished goods handling, and outbound processes\nManage and approve stock movements within the ERP system\nCoordinate material flow to support production requirements\nMaintain warehouse documentation, labeling standards, and material traceability\nMonitor and improve warehouse KPIs, productivity, and operational efficiency\nDrive Lean initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, and flow optimization activities\nCoordinate transportation activities and monitor logistics supplier performance\nInvestigate and resolve logistics non-conformities\nEnsure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environment regulations\nLead, coach, develop, and evaluate warehouse team members\nIdentify training needs and support employee development\nWhat do we want to know about you?\nSecondary school or university degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field\nMinimum 2 years of experience in warehouse management, internal logistics, or a similar leadership role\nExperience working in a manufacturing environment\nProven experience in team leadership and people management\nExperience with ERP systems (SAP experience is an advantage)\nEnglish at intermediate level (B1) and Slovak language proficiency\nMicrosoft Office 365, especially Excel, at intermediate level\nKnowledge of inventory management, material flow, and logistics processes\nWhat will make you successful in this role?\nStrong leadership and communication skills\nAnalytical thinking and data-driven decision making\nKnowledge of Supply Chain concepts and flow optimization\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing, VSM, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies\nProactive and solution-oriented mindset\nAbility to work independently and prioritize effectively\nHigh level of responsibility, discipline, and attention to detail\nStrong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset\nCollaborative approach and ability to build positive working relationships across departments\nWhat can we offer?\nStable employment in an international company\n13th salary\nTransportation allowance and anniversary bonuses\nEmployer-funded language courses\nInterest-free employee loans up to €2,000\nReferral bonus for recommending a new employee (€500)\nMarriage bonus (€285)\nRecreation allowance\nPharmacy voucher worth €100\nFlexible working hours and occasional home office option\nSuccessful candidates will be employed under local employment conditions and must already satisfy local employment/work permit and residency regulations.\nPlease note that we do not accept agency candidate submissions without a formalized agreement with Wabtec Talent Acquisition.
