This role ensures that all processes, products, and services meet the highest quality, health, safety, environmental, and energy management standards.\nWhat will your typical day look like?\nIntegrated Management System (IMS):\nDevelop, implement, and manage the IMS to ensure compliance with IRIS 22163, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, Wabtec’s WMS and other relevant standards.\nConduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the effectiveness of the IMS, covering quality, health, safety, environmental, and energy management systems.\nLead the internal audit program, including planning, execution, and follow-up on corrective actions across all relevant standards.\nMaintain all quality, health, safety, environmental, and energy management documentation, records, and reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.\nKeep informed of the Safety, Environment and Quality Management System methodologies and assure ease of implementation for the relevant content and the reliability of the products required by customers\nMaintain the IMS updated according to Wabtec standards to allow costs for the execution of the Projects deadlines and reach optimum levels.\nRepresent the management of the company during certification process or surveillance audits regarding ISO’s, Special Process or External Audits.\nCoordinate with Management and ensure documentation related to the organization's Management Review and Business Plan - STRAP (context review, system and stakeholder changes, area and Site SWOTs, risk and opportunity management, changes or new developments in legal and other requirements, customer feedback, etc.).\nIRIS 22163 Specific Responsibilities:\nOversee the implementation and maintenance of the IRIS 22163 rail industry standard.\nEnsure that all rail-related processes meet the quality and safety requirements specific to the rail industry.\nCollaborate with relevant departments and functions in Wabtec to meet the specific demands and expectations of rail industry customers.\nISO 45001 Specific Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and programs in line with ISO 45001.\nConduct risk assessments and hazard identification processes to mitigate potential workplace risks.\nPromote a culture of safety and ensure that health and safety objectives are established and met.\nISO 14001 Specific Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement environmental management policies, procedures, and programs in line with ISO 14001.\nEnsure that environmental objectives are established, monitored, and achieved, including waste management, pollution, prevention, and resource conservation.\nundefined Lead initiatives to minimize the company’s environmental footprint. undefined\nISO 50001 Specific Responsibilities:\nCoordination and collaboration with the Production, Sustainability & Energy Mger in order to:Develop and implement energy management policies, procedures, and programs in line with ISO 50001.\nMonitor energy usage and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce consumption.\nEstablish energy performance indicators (EnPIs) and drive continuous improvement in energy management.\nRegulatory Compliance:\nEnsure compliance with local, national, and international regulations related to quality, health, safety, environmental, and energy management.\nStay updated on changes in industry regulations, standards, and best practices.\nLiaise with regulatory bodies, certification agencies, and external auditors as needed. \nContinuous Improvement:\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, workplace safety, environmental sustainability, and energy efficiency.Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, health, safety, environmental, and energy performance.\nFacilitate root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for any issues related to the IMS. \nCustomer Interaction:\nCollaborate with Sales team in the annual Customer Survey process in order to understand their requirements and expectations and manage internal action plan emanated from their feedback.undefined\nHealth and Safety Management:\nDevelop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in line with local regulations and industry standards.\nEnsure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including those specific to the railway sector.\nRisk Management:\nConduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.\nDevelop and enforce risk management strategies to minimize accidents and incidents. \nTraining and Development:\nAligned with Wabtec processes, tools and guidelines, design and deliver awareness training programs on health and safety practices, ensuring all employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.\nEnsure locally mandated health and safety training for all employees according to Wabtec Iberica scope of activities.\nIncident Management:\nInvestigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.\nMaintain detailed records of incidents and ensure proper reporting to relevant authorities.\nRegulatory Reporting and Documentation:\nPrepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation as required.\nKeep up to date with changes in legislation and industry best practices, and adjust policies accordingly. \nSafety Culture Promotion:\nFoster a positive safety culture by engaging with employees, encouraging feedback, and promoting safe working practices.\nLead safety meetings and collaborate with various departments to address health and safety concerns.\nEmergency Preparedness:\nDevelop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and crisis management strategies.\nConduct regular drills and simulations to ensure preparedness for emergencies.\nWhat do we want to know from you?\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, environmental science.
