In this role, you will act as a key interface between the customer and internal teams, ensuring locomotive overhaul projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\nHow will you make a difference?\nYou will be responsible for leading and coordinating locomotive overhaul (Loco OH) programs from planning through execution. You will ensure project objectives related to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction are successfully achieved. The role requires strong collaboration across multiple functions to drive operational excellence, identify process improvements, and support long-term customer success. You will play a critical role in maintaining effective project governance, monitoring performance, and delivering high-quality service solutions to our customers.\nWhat do we want to know about you?\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering \nMinimum 3 years of experience in service operations, maintenance, project management, or related technical roles.\nFluent in English and Kazakh (written and verbal).\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).\nStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication and stakeholder management skills.\nMust have legal authorization to work in Kazakhstan.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in maintenance, overhaul, and troubleshooting of equipment.\nProject management experience in industrial, transportation, or heavy equipment environments.\nDemonstrated leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.\nWhat will your typical day look like?\nLead and coordinate locomotive overhaul (Loco OH) projects, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and performance metrics.\nMonitor project execution and proactively identify and mitigate risks.\nServe as the primary point of contact for customers regarding project status, deliverables, and issue resolution.\nCoordinate activities among operations, engineering, supply chain, field service, and workshop teams.\nTrack project costs and support financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities.\nEnsure compliance with company processes, customer requirements, and safety standards.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives related to project execution, maintenance practices, and operational performance.\nPrepare and present regular project updates to management and customers.\nSupport annual planning activities and contribute to the development of long-term service programs.\nFacilitate resolution of technical and operational issues to ensure successful project delivery.\nMaintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records throughout the project lifecycle.\nWe will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.\nWhat could you accomplish in a place that puts People First?\nAt Wabtec, it’s not just about a job - it’s about the impact you make.
