You will be working with factory floor employees, engineers, and other staff.\nHow will you make a difference?\nThe Manufacturing IT Systems & Software Engineer assists in providing custom solutions for the manufacturing environment using a variety of systems and common languages, including Bash, PHP, Python, JavaScript, Xcode, sql, and other languages such as Rockwell’s ladder logic and Inductive Automation’s language set for Ignition.\nWhat do we want to know about you?\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required\nAssociate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but 2+ years of experience in programming and Linux systems will be strongly considered\nExperience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required\nProficiency in Linux operating systems is highly desirable, and a working knowledge of Linux, MacOS, and Windows are required\nExposure to and experience with MariaDB/MySQL are highly desirable\nWillingness to adapt, change tasks, and self-manage within a small and nimble team are required\nWhat will your typical day look like?\nDevelop applications utilizing languages including Bash, PHP, Python, JavaScript, Xcode, SQL, and other languages such as Rockwell’s ladder logic and Inductive Automation’s language set for Ignition\nRegularly interfacing with clients (our workforce) for direction, expectations, and feedback\nSupport, Maintain, and improve:Various applications built in languages including Bash, PHP, Python, JavaScript, Xcode, SQL, and other languages such as Rockwell’s ladder logic and Inductive Automation’s language set for Ignition\nManufacturing Datacenter assets and architecture, which include, but are not limited to power systems, LAN, WLAN, Proxmox virtualization hosts, standalone servers, NAS utilizing ZFS and Ceph\nMulti-level Backup servers leveraging Linux and in-house software\nIntegration between MFG Datacenter and the PLC assets of the factory\nMariaDB database servers\nWLAN and Network wiring and monitoring for manufacturing assets\nDR methodologies for MFG connectivity, including periodic testing\nDocumentation for all processes and assets\n\nProvide analysis and resolution for hardware & software problems.\nSupport and Maintain:Various physical and virtual Linux and Windows servers\nVarious portable devices, including iOS-based platforms\n\nOther duties as assigned by supervisor\nDaily on-site attendance is required.\nWhat about the physical demands of the job?\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The salary rate for this role is currently $68900-98200 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
