Work with a talented team of mechanical, electrical, software, system and test engineers to apply and further develop your mechanical engineering and problem-solving skills.\nWhat do we want to know about you?\nBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field\nMinimum 6 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, with a strong background in product design and development\nProficient in 3D modeling and Creo or SolidWorks\nProven expertise in designing mechanical systems for high-vibration environments, such as those found in transportation applications\nExperience in solving complex technical and quality problems\nStrong background in electronics packaging and thermal management\nExcellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment\nWhat will your typical day look like?\nHands-on experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping techniques\nPerform a complete lifecycle product development by leading the design, estimations, analysis, development and validation of complex mechanical systems and components\nUtilize 3D modeling and simulation tools to optimize product designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and software components\nWork with suppliers on product development activities and assisting with the resolution of component quality challenges\nProvide sound engineering estimates of labor and material expenses for new projects\nEvaluate 3rd party mechanical and electromechanical products by generating validation plans and overseeing testing\nEnsure designs meet all relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers\nContinuously research and implement the latest mechanical engineering best practices and technologies\nRelocation assistance may be provided if eligibility requirements are met.\nOur job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $79100-112800 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
