Your ability to guide and inspire others will be crucial as you help shape our business objectives.\nExperience and Qualifications:\n Education: High School graduate with at least 5 years of related experience; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or supply chain preferred. Excellent computer skills including MS Office & ERP systems, Oracle experience preferred.\nLeadership: Demonstrated experience in leading teams, managing suppliers, supporting key stakeholders, and fostering a collaborative environment.\nDesired Characteristics:\nComprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques.\nStrong analytical skills to identify issues and craft innovative solutions.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.\nKnowledge of production/materials control systems and experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.\nProficiency in Oracle ERP\nExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nWhat Will Your Typical Day Look Like?\nSupport & Collaboration: Provide critical support to Production, Project and Sales teams, ensuring supplier deliveries meet material requirements and production schedules.\nForecasting & Planning: Collaborate with planning teams to convert material forecasts and customer demand into actionable production and material plans, supporting lean manufacturing principles.\nInventory Management: Support business inventory goals, establishing MoQ & safety stock, managing lead times, and adapting to fluctuating market demands.\nLogistics: Coordinate inbound supplier deliveries aligned with customer and project requirements.\nCost Control: Manage material costs through strategic supply chain management.\nCustomer Focus: Meet customer schedules with advanced planning and create agile strategies to expedite shipments as needed.\nProcess Ownership: Own and optimize procurement & MPR processes to ensure material is delivered on schedule, invoiced at the negotiated price and meet the quality standards of the company.\nCross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, Finance, and Manufacturing teams to resolve material issues and drive continuous improvement.\nMentorship: Lead and mentor a team of salaried and hourly employees, fostering a culture of excellence in procurement.\nInnovation & Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement progressive management systems based on Lean and Six Sigma principles.\nLeadership Beyond Boundaries: Take ownership of plant-wide materials process improvements, present your team's achievements to senior leadership, and flex beyond your traditional responsibilities to enhance overall shop operations.\nWhat Are the Physical Demands?\n Hands-On Environment: Expect to be actively engaged on the shop floor, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).\nPhysical Activity: Be prepared for walking, climbing, stooping, bending, and lifting as you immerse yourself in understanding and improving our processes.\n Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $79100-112800. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
