We specialize in the production of high-performance components made from carbon and graphite materials for demanding industrial applications, where durability, precision, and reliability are essential.\nThanks to our proprietary technologies, extensive experience, and innovative approaches, we deliver solutions across a wide range of industries both locally and internationally.\n How can you contribute to our growth and transformation?\nWe are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager who will play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting business growth, and strengthening our end-to-end supply chain performance.\nIn this role, you will be responsible for:\nLeading and developing the Supply Chain organization, including Production Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse Management, and Logistics.\nDeveloping and implementing supply chain strategies, processes, and policies to ensure efficient and sustainable operations.\nEnsuring material availability to support customer requirements and production plans.\nOptimizing inventory levels, working capital, and operational costs while improving efficiency and reducing waste.\nMonitoring and evaluating Supply Chain KPIs and implementing improvement initiatives based on performance results.\nManaging warehouse operations and ensuring effective inventory control.\nLeading, motivating, and developing the Supply Chain team, including recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.\nEnsuring compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.\nDriving a culture of continuous improvement through Lean principles, 5S, Kaizen, and other operational excellence initiatives.\nCollaborating closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Commercial teams to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.\nHow will your typical workday look like?\nReviewing Supply Chain performance, operational priorities, and key business metrics.\nCoordinating production planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics activities.\nWorking closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of customer orders and production plans.\nIdentifying supply chain risks and implementing mitigation actions.\nLeading team meetings, coaching employees, and supporting their professional development.\nAnalyzing performance data and driving improvement projects focused on productivity, cost optimization, and service levels.\nCollaborating with suppliers and external partners to ensure reliable supply and delivery performance.\nSupporting strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening operational efficiency and business growth.\nWhat do we want to know about you?\nBachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in a Supply Chain leadership role within a manufacturing environment.\nProven experience managing planning, purchasing, warehouse, and logistics functions.\nExperience working with ERP systems (SAP is an advantage).\nStrong people management and leadership experience.\nGood command of English (B2 level or higher) and Slovak language.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office 365.\nWhat will make you successful in this role?\nStrong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and engage teams.\nExcellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.\nStrategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.\nResults-driven attitude focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nHigh level of accountability, integrity, and professionalism.\nAbility to work independently while building strong cross-functional relationships.\nEffective communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.\nWhat can we offer?\nStable employment in an international company\n13th salary\nTransportation allowance and anniversary bonuses\nEmployer-funded language courses\nInterest-free employee loans up to €2,000\nReferral bonus for recommending a new employee (€500)\nMarriage bonus (€285)\nRecreation allowance\nPharmacy voucher worth €100\nFlexible working hours and occasional home office option\nSuccessful candidates will be employed under local employment conditions and must already satisfy local employment/work permit and residency regulations.\nPlease note that we do not accept agency candidate submissions without a formalized agreement with Wabtec Talent Acquisition.
