You maintain requirements traceability and assess the impact of changes throughout the project lifecycle.\nYou are the technical partner of our project teams\nYou support System Project Engineers with technical analysis, options and recommendations. When required, you participate in technical discussions with customers and support integration and troubleshooting in the lab or on the vehicle.\nYou bring strong audio expertise\nYou understand audio systems from microphones, amplifiers, speakers, signal levels, impedance and acoustic performance to digital audio, VoIP, codecs, latency, noise reduction and echo cancellation. You are comfortable investigating real systems using measurement equipment and turning observations into technical conclusions.\nYou understand connected systems\nYou are comfortable with IP networks and communication protocols and understand concepts such as DHCP, NTP, VLANs and networked audio/video. You can discuss system-level cybersecurity topics such as secure configurations, certificates and communication between devices, working with specialists when deeper expertise is required.\nYou help us shape future products\nAs your knowledge of our systems grows, you will work with R&D to translate project experience and emerging technologies into requirements and technical proposals for future generations of products, particularly in the audio domain.\nWhat do we want to know from you?\nEngineering degree or equivalent technical background\n5+ years of relevant engineering experience, with a solid background in System Engineering and audio/electronic systems\nHands-on understanding of audio systems, including analog and digital audio, amplification, microphones, speakers, signal levels and acoustic performance\nExperience in requirements engineering, technical specifications and requirements management/traceability tools\nGood understanding of IP networks and communication protocols\nAbility to understand electronic systems, electrical interfaces and hardware constraints\nPractical troubleshooting mindset and familiarity with tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and network analysis tools\nBasic understanding of cybersecurity concepts applied at system level\nFamiliarity with video streaming, codecs and related technologies is appreciated\nRailway or Passenger Information System experience is a strong plus, but not mandatory\nProfessional English and Italian languages (German is considered a plus)\nCuriosity, autonomy and a genuine passion for understanding technology\nWhat do we offer?\nPermanent full-time contract, CCNL Metalmeccanico\nSmart working: 2 days per week\nTraining and professional development opportunities\nBenefits, including: flexible hours, canteen, welfare platform, accident insurance, tax assistance, and electric car charging\nThe current salary for this role ranges from €40,000 to €50,000.
