These offerings include tailored Maintenance Contracts, Overhauls, Asset Performance Management, Upgrades and modernisations.\nLearn more about our business here - Freight Services\nReporting to the Technical Team Manager, you will provide Wabtec Air Brake and Systems technical advice to Rio Tinto maintenance staff and engineers for all owned locomotives on the RTIO rail network. This role will develop customer loyalty and manage customer relationships that foster a long-term partnership. Ensures locomotive servicing and overhauls are completed in a timely manner and to the agreed Maintenance Instructions (MI’s). Provide trouble shooting advice to RTIO technicians. Work closely with RTIO Reliability Engineers to improve key locomotive performance KPI’s. Works closely with the other TA’s, and Service Leader to ensure all locomotives that depart RTIO maintenance or tripping shops are best prepared to complete 100% successful journeys. Engage and discuss Wabtec technical products with Rio Team to improve reliability / productivity.\nWhere is the position located?\nThis is a Monday - Friday role, located in Dampier.\nWhat will your typical day look like?\nResponding to RTIO requests for troubleshooting, failure analysis, field modification oversight, issue feedback and engineering support.\nProviding training and assistance to customer on product maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.\nTrack product performance metrics and issue recommendations for continuous improvement.\nCoordinating implementation of field modifications and monitor effectiveness.\nPerforming joint investigation of failed components with the customer for warranty administration.\nInteraction with GE teams worldwide on issues, product development and training.\nEnsure timely resolution of customer issues and customer satisfaction.\nReport and communicate project updates.\nReporting on performance criteria and customer monthly meeting.\nDevelop a deep understanding of the customer’s business to identify opportunities for account growth.\nDay-to-Day ERP Transactions to ensure timely material transactions.\nMonitor Fleet performance and communicate trends to parts ordering and lead min max levels.\nAchieve internal level 1 certification training within 18 months.\nOperate safely and under site isolation processes and other critical risk controls.\nWhat do we want to know about you?\nCurrent WA Electrical Licence\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience working within the Rail Industry preferably on Wabtec locomotives.\nElectrical experience is essential for this role.\nRecent experience maintaining and troubleshooting EVO & FDL locomotives.\nAbility to manage effectively several projects simultaneously in a dynamic and face paced environment.\nDemonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems with customer focus.\nStrong customer service mindset.\nStrong oral and written communication skills.\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills.\nOwn technical decisions on site in regarding to product performance.\nApplicants must have current working rights in Australia.
