Whether it’s for each other or our customers, we put always People First.\n Who will you be working with?\nOur Transit Field Services team is responsible for delivering high-quality field support, warranty execution, retrofit activities, and maintenance services for transit customers across the region. The team works closely with Product Management, Services Sales, Resident Engineers, Project Execution, Customer Service, and Operations teams to ensure reliable product performance and customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of Wabtec’s transit solutions. In this role, you will collaborate daily with internal stakeholders and customer representatives, leading a multi-site organization focused on operational excellence, safety, quality, and service delivery.\nHow will you make a difference?\nAs a member of the Transit Services division, you will be responsible for leading the regional Field Services organization and driving the successful execution of field service, warranty, and maintenance activities. You will deploy the regional Field Services strategy, establish operational standards and KPIs, and ensure efficient resource and budget management across multiple locations. You will support Services Sales by developing customer-centric service solutions and strengthening customer relationships while driving operational excellence and workforce capability. You will partner with Product Management, Resident Engineers, and Project Teams to improve product performance, serviceability, and customer satisfaction while providing regular operational updates and performance reporting to leadership.\nWhat do we want to know about you?\nEngineering degree or technical qualification.\nStrong experience in project management and complex operations.\nProven leadership of multi-site Field Service or operational teams.\nSolid business acumen and experience in service business development.\nKPI-driven, cost-focused, and customer-oriented leadership mindset.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience managing budgets, resource planning, and workforce allocation.\nAbility to lead, develop, and coach multidisciplinary teams.\nExperience supporting warranty, maintenance, repair, and retrofit activities.\nStrong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.\nAbility to work effectively in a matrix and international environment.\nWhat will your typical day look like?\nLead the Field Services organization within the region.\nDeploy and execute Transit Field Services strategy, processes, and tools.\nDevelop, track, and improve operational KPIs focused on quality, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction.\nManage Resident Site Managers, Field Service Operations Managers, Warranty Managers, and Customer Service Managers.\nPerform regular workforce planning, resource allocation, and budget management.\nSupport Services Sales teams in developing and delivering service solutions.\nStrengthen customer relationships and identify opportunities to grow the service business.\nPartner with Resident Engineers and Project Teams to support project execution during warranty phases.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and cost optimization.\nProvide structured feedback to Product Management regarding product performance and serviceability improvements.\nEnsure training and competency development across the Field Services organization.\nSupport warranty, retrofit, and maintenance activities while ensuring on-time delivery and operational excellence.\nDemonstrate a strong commitment to customer success through effective service delivery and issue resolution.\nLegal authorization to work in EU is required.
