In this role, you won't just manage tasks-you will be the \"face of Wachter\" for our clients, ensuring that every project is delivered with the quality, professionalism, and safety our customers have trusted for over 90 years.\nWhat you will be doing:\nProject Leadership: Manage the full project life cycle-initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout-while collaborating closely with site superintendents and internal stakeholders.\n Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including talent acquisition (interviewing/hiring), resource allocation, payroll approval, and team delegation.\nFinancial & Strategic Planning: Manage project billing, create bid sheets and contractual proposals, and provide weekly/monthly financial forecasting and revenue projections.\nLogistics & Quality Control: Coordinate all material and equipment procurement. You’ll also conduct rigorous quality and safety audits to ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards.\nClient & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the \"face of the company\" by maintaining high standards of professionalism. You’ll travel to client sites for surveys and technical training while building rapport with customers, engineers, and sales teams.\nPre-Construction: Source and evaluate new bid opportunities, providing accurate estimations to grow our project pipeline.\nWhat we are looking for:\nProven Experience: At least 2 years of project management experience, specifically handling crew management, project quoting, and material procurement.\n Technical Literacy: Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (especially spreadsheets and email) is required. You should be comfortable working with engineered drawings, bid specs, and construction take-offs.\nCommunication & Detail: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for building client relationships.
