Join the Wachter family and chart your career path!\nWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager who brings both strong project leadership skills and hands-on electrical field experience. This role is ideal for a professional who understands the realities of electrical construction from the jobsite to the office, and can effectively manage projects, schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships.\nThe successful candidate will have a proven background in electrical installations and field operations, allowing them to confidently support project teams and drive successful project execution from planning through completion.\nThis position is in our Lowell office daily Monday through Friday with some travel as needed.\nRequirements\n\n2+years electrical PM exp or 6+ years of field exp\nExperience with project management, crew management, quotes, and material ordering is necessary.\nExperience in the electrical field is a plus.\nProject Management experience in Construction, Technology, Telecommunications, or related fields is helpful.\nCollege Education preferred, although not required. \nExperience in any of the following fields is a plus: CAT5, Telecommunications, Fiber, Construction, or Structure Cabling IT. \nExperience working with engineered drawings, bid specifications, and construction take-offs is helpful. \nSome travel is required, up to 5% site visits.\nAt least 2 years of experience managing projects. \nProficient with the use of computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs. \nExcellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and written. \nStrong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills. \nAbility to prioritize tasks. \nMust type at least 40 WPM. \nProject Management experience in Construction, Technology, or related fields is helpful. \nResponsibilities\nOversee daily operational tasks including; performing employee interviews, hiring, assigning resources, and payroll approval.\nPerform daily project management operations through all five phases of the project life cycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closeout. \nManage crews including interviews, hiring, and payroll approval.\nCreate bid sheets and contractual proposals for projects. \nOrder all materials and equipment for projects. \nPerform quality and safety audits to ensure the quality of all materials and equipment. \nProvide weekly and monthly financial forecasting and revenue projection reports. \nProvide logistical project support. \nCreate and maintain project files. \nManage project scheduling and billing. \nManage the process of sourcing, evaluating, and estimating selected bid opportunities. \nMaintain a high standard of quality and professionalism. \nManage & delegate through team resources. \nTravel to customer locations to provide additional technical training, perform site walks, surveys, updates, and build rapport with the clients. \nOversee the day-to-day communication with customers, essentially representing the face of Wachter. \nCommunicate effectively and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, customers, technicians, sales team, other departments, upper management, engineers, etc. \nPerform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which your supervisor may assign. \nAdhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by the Company and
