IRA Retirement Savings \nKey Responsibilities:\n Install and Maintain: Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain structured cabling systems (Cat5/Cat6, fiber, coax).\nCabinet & Conduit Work: Perform conduit installation, cable dressing, and termination inside IDF/MDF cabinets.\nDevice Setup: Install and configure CCTV and network devices.\nProject Leadership: Lead small teams on multi-week projects to ensure timely, safe, and budget-conscious delivery.\nBlueprints: Read and interpret blueprints and site maps.\nAerial Work: Operate BOOM and/or scissor lifts to work at heights up to 40+ feet.\nTesting & Compliance: Conduct system testing and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.\nCommunication: Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with clients and team members.\nQualifications:\nExperience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in low-voltage systems, structured cabling, networking, and CCTV.\n Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fiber optic termination, network infrastructure, and Point-of-Sale (POS) deployment/troubleshooting.\n Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in the last 3 years).\nTransportation: Reliable personal transportation.\n Tools: Must possess basic telecom tools and standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\nLeadership: Comfortable working independently and leading small teams.\n Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively (4-6 weeks at a time) and work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.\nHighly Desirable Skills (Preferred but Not Required)\nIndustry certifications: BICSI, OSHA, MSHA, AVIXA CTS, Panduit, Belden, or Corning.\nHands-on experience with fusion splicing.\nExperience running DSX cable certification
