This individual will maintain full ownership of project planning, financial performance, scheduling, manpower coordination, subcontractor management, procurement, installation oversight, commissioning, and project closeout.\nThis role is NOT a fit if your experience is mainly in IT infrastructure or network administration (routing, switching, servers, or help desk), or in project management outside the low voltage and construction industry. Those are valuable skills, but they are not what this position needs.\nThe ideal candidate is a proven leader with strong financial acumen, excellent customer relationship skills, and a successful track record of delivering complex security projects on time and within budget.\nThis role is a fit if you have worked on the contractor side of low voltage projects and know how a job moves from bid to closeout: submittals, purchase orders, permits, inspections, and billing. Understanding of project lifecycle of a traditional LV project is a plus!\nResponsibilities:\nManage electronic security projects from award through final completion.\n\nOversee project financial performance, including budget management, forecasting, cost controls, and Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility.\n\nDevelop and maintain project schedules to ensure successful execution and on-time delivery.\n\nCoordinate labor resources, subcontractors, materials, and equipment required for project completion.\n\nManage procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials.\n\nLead project kickoff meetings and ongoing project status meetings.\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.\n\nReview project drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope requirements.\n\nManage project documentation, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation.\n\nOversee system installation, testing, commissioning, and customer acceptance processes.\n\nMonitor project quality, safety, and compliance with company standards and applicable codes.\n\nIdentify and resolve project risks, scheduling conflicts, and operational challenges.\n\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across project operations.\n\nQualifications:\n\n5+ years of project management experience within the security, low-voltage, fire alarm, electrical, or related industries.\nProven experience managing CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and integrated security projects.\nDemonstrated experience managing project budgets and financial performance.\nStrong understanding of project scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.\nExperience managing subcontractors, vendors, and field installation teams.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.\nExcellent organizational, communication, and customer relationship management skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.\nValid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area as needed.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPMP certification or equivalent project management training.\nExperience with enterprise security platforms and integrated security solutions.\nKnowledge of construction project delivery methodologies and best practices.\nExperience working within retail, commercial, industrial, healthcare, or mission-critical environments.\nManufacturer certifications or industry-specific security
