Reporting to the Project Coordinator/District Coordinator, the role involves participation in block-level immunization meetings, conducting monthly reviews with medical officers, and undertaking extensive field visits to identify high-risk areas, underserved communities, and zero-dose children. The coordinator will work closely with ASHAs, community health officers, and local leaders to address vaccine hesitancy, integrate zero-dose communities into service delivery plans, and facilitate house-to-house engagements for immunization awareness. Additionally, the role includes planning demand-generation activities, supporting frontline workers in tracking immunization coverage, assisting in UWIN registration, preparing periodic reports, and documenting best practices.\nParticipation in relevant block level meetings related to Immunization like BTFI, presentation of project progress and community feedback.\nConduct monthly review of immunization status in the blocks with all supervisory cadres through the Medical Officer.\nField visits for supportive supervision and problem solving in the field 20 days per month; for the following\nPRA exercise and social mapping of the ASHA area/mobilizer area for identification of:\nHamlets/pockets not served by ANM/ASHAs such as High-risk areas such as Geographically difficult/cut out areas, Tribal and nomadic population, habitations of seasonal migratory population, peri urban habitations etc.\nZero Dose (ZD) children/pockets and identify reasons behind vaccine avoidance service and demand related including gender.\nLocal leaders/prominent people who can mobilize vaccine hesitant families\nLocal CBOs who can support in vaccination uptake\nReasons behind vaccine avoidance\nIntegrate the ZD communities in the SHC service delivery micro plans and communication action plan through advocacy at district and block level.\nFacilitate house to house engagements by ASHAs/mobilizer to overcome counsel vaccine hesitant families and refer them to immunization services.\nSupport supervisory cadre (ASHA facilitator, Community health Officer etc.) in extending supportive supervision to FLWs and ensure regular tracking of ZD communities\nPlanning and execution of demand generation, community engagement immunization and integrated primary health care.\nFacilitate registration in UWIN through FLWs and Community engagement.\nAssist District Coordinator in preparing the reports (monthly/quarterly/annual )\nIdentify best practices and innovations within block and to document it\nAny other duty assigned by supervisor that is consistent with the nature of the job and the level of responsibility.\nRequirements\nThe candidate should have a bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, with 2-5 years of experience (preferably in public health) and proficiency in Hindi and English.
