We are always on the lookout for future-oriented talent - want to join the ride?\nYour main responsibilities are\nPerform commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and field service activities for Propulsion systems, with a primary focus on electrical, control, and automation systems.\nExecute testing, commissioning, and functional verification of control systems.\nDiagnose and resolve electrical, automation, and system integration issues in a timely and professional manner.\nPrepare accurate and complete service, commissioning, and troubleshooting reports.\nCollect and document technical data during service activities to support reporting and future analysis.\nEnsure all electrical commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures.\nUse and maintain company tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment according to established work practices.\nMaintain accurate timesheets, expense records, and service documentation to support project execution and customer invoicing.\nBuild and maintain positive customer relationships through professional service delivery and effective communication.\nEnsure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality technical support and timely problem resolution.\nComply with all company regulations, work instructions, quality requirements, and safety procedures.\nStrictly follow HSE requirements and correctly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nSupport other service and commissioning activities as assigned.\nYou will shine in this role when you have:\nGood command of English, both written and spoken.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills for electrical and automation systems.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.\nFamiliarity with PLC-based control systems, VFDs, sensors, instrumentation, and marine automation systems.\nStrong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions under pressure.\nWillingness to travel frequently within China and internationally when required.\nCustomer-oriented mindset with a proactive and service-focused attitude.\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation Engineering, Marine Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.\nExperience:\nMinimum 3 years of experience in electrical commissioning, field service, automation, or marine electrical systems.\nExperience in marine, shipbuilding, offshore, power generation, or other heavy industries is preferred.\nHands-on experience with propulsion control systems, shaft line monitoring systems, seal and bearing monitoring systems, VFDs, PLCs, or marine automation systems is highly desirable.\nExperience working onboard vessels, at shipyards, or during commissioning projects is an advantage.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of marine classification society requirements and marine electrical standards.\nExperience with Wärtsilä propulsion products, control systems, or marine integrated automation systems is a strong advantage.\nAbility to perform commissioning and troubleshooting independently with minimal supervision.\nStrong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.\nWhy you and us\nYou are valued - as your true self.
